I honestly can't even express how much I absolutely love this place. I visited Glenwood for the first time this past weekend, and this place was, other than the amazing wedding I was there for, without a doubt, the best part about the whole trip. We just happened to stumbled upon this place, and I'm so glad we did. The food was so good that we ended up going back for more, later that day, to take some home with us. And I'm super disappointed that I didn't get more because it's already gone. 😔 We got a pretty big variety of their foods, and I savored every single bite. I also got one of their Sweet Chi Lattes with oat milk and a pump of vanilla, and it was the best Chi I've ever had. That also didn't last long enough. Oh! I also have to give a heads up to the employees, not just for their amazing food. They were all super sweet and worked very well under pressure. They were slammed both times we were there. 110% recommend. They're a reason to visit Glenwood all on their own. 🏆🥇 (we got more than what's in the picture, I just forgot to take another pic of our second visit)

The line in the morning is usually very long, and the food is a bit on the expensive side. It feels like bread prices are as high as in Aspen. Nevertheless, the taste was generally not bad, and the coffee was good. I ordered a quiche, which tasted fine, but it cost around $9. Given the long morning lines, it can take a long time to get your order. Also, when I went at 8:30 AM, there weren't many bread options left. I think it would be better if the prices were a bit lower. It seemed like many people opted for the $12 breakfast burrito instead, probably because the bread was so expensive. Parking seemed a bit difficult, and the restaurant appears to be set up to welcome many children.

I've been coming here quite a while now and I first I thought it was a gem. But customer service goes a long way. I'm getting pretty fed up with one specific employee who always seems pretty lost. Asked them to describe what the filling to their almond croissant. When I got a pretty blank stare and was told it's "almondy?" And "uhh i don't really know how to describe it" I would imagine the person behind the counter would be able to tell me what their small menu of pastry items have. My review is mainly towards the one employee I love there products but overpriced and bad customer service is going to actually be the last time I come here in a while

Is this even an open establishment? Serious question bc every time I come it’s closed. Lol! Did it get closed down already? I’ve come well before 3pm the time it says it closes and the door over the sign always says closed. Not sure how this business is paying its rent if it’s closed 89% of the time. But, okay. We definitely need more options for bakeries in this town. (Edit) I went to check it out before the holidays, thanks. And also at various times. Sounds like you need help! Lol! With the way you run your business and run your mouth you won’t be in business long!😂 Tragic, I have high hopes for small businesses. It’s why everyone supports big chains and not little businesses is bc of people like you and your horrible manners. I hope you can do more than bake a chocolate croissant bc you’re not a very good business owner, so far. That’s for sure. Thanks for the reply tho.😘 Enjoy your Holiday weeks off. Lol!

P.s. I am a successful business owner in downtown Glenwood for the past few years. If you can’t handle customer service then you won’t last, sorry to say. And after reading all your reviews it’s looks like I’m not missing anything bc the coffee is nothing to talk about and your crew is rude. Or is it your family?🤔 Too bad the big corporations get to keep taking our hard earned money.

*edit AGAIN. Annie’s changed her comment bc the first response was super unprofessional. lol! Good for her. At least she...

Glenwood local. I passed by this place for MONTHS waiting for it to open. It did not disappoint. The interior of the place was bright clean and quite quaint perfectly setting the stage for the warm and friendly staff (owners?). The openess to see the bakers working in the back was actually very pleasant, definitely the vibe of artisans taking pride in their work.

I got 2 chocolate croissant and a chocolate chip cookie. The croissant was light, soft and flake as expected but the thing that stood out most to me was the wonderful flavor of the generous chunks of chocolate in the center. The cookie was perfectly baked with a light crisp on the bottom but still with a great balance of slight gooeynes on the top.

Pricing was appropriate in my opinion, not cheap but not expensive either. I'm definitely going back to try the cheesecake... and dare I admit it looked like it may rival my homemade?!?! It looked like a generous sized piece...
