Tequila's Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Glenwood Springs

Everything was going okay but the waitress was impatient rushing us to order. Our food was not delivered at the same time or even with a minimal delay. I had ordered the ceviche bowl, kids burger & kids quesadillas, horchata & tequila sunrise. The food in my order was good but still had people waiting and had to be reminded several times of it. When we received the receipt and it was all put together and left for each of us to start doing some math and breakdown the prices. Gratuity Tip was already added on there but honestly the customer service was bad. We tried asking for a manager and were immediately told he would say the same; That our amounts couldn’t be split up so we had to figure out the math ourselves. It was late so we were ready to check out so we went to the cash register and then she decided she would do the math for us. We had to remind her that she had refused to do that so earlier and it’s already taken care of-we broke down the math for her- she still wanted to do that math. So we had to stop being nice and be more firm and remind her that we had already done their job for them and this is the first time ever we had to do this. Finally they accepted our math and payment and as soon as she was done with one family she would say “okay still needing 380 -or whatever was left” she tried to rush me but I stopped her and told her that my change was not complete and I needed all of my change. Sorry but rude service does not get additional tips-so I got my change and she continued doing her thing. Honestly, it was a waste of time. Even if my food was good-it is overpriced for the quality & quanity & well the customer service is ridiculous! And I’m only speaking about my food. The others did not enjoy their meals because it was tasteless. We would have also been sitting in the dark if we hadn’t asked to have the umbrellas removed-which again they left us to do their work and remove them. Overall would...

Our service was completely horrible! The waiter that we had was very rude. One of my friends had ordered her food with the vegetables on the side. That came out wrong. She had also asked if there was any sauce on what she was ordering and they told her they would make sure that they took it off. She cut into her food and it was covered in sauce. She asked the waiter if the meat was marinated in the sauce and as she was in the middle of her sentence he just walked off. I had ordered the Carne Asada and it was completely burnt. I tried to grin and bear it but it was literally like eating a beef jerky. But way worse! I tried to talk to someone about my steak and was not successful. I finally went up to the front and asked for a manager. Another gentleman had came over and asked me what was wrong since the manager was delivering food and I had told him about my steak. He came over to our table grab my plate and then walked off. I still was not able to talk to anyone at that point so went back up to the front. I asked for the manager again and told him my issue. I had let him know that somebody else had came and grabbed my plate. He then grabbed my ticket and took my Carne Asada off of my ticket and left my side of sour cream and cheese that I had ordered. Keep in mind I was not able to even use my sides being that I could not even eat my steak. So I paid my $5.07 for my side of sour cream and cheese and left. Also Our waiter did not fill our drinks once. He would not bring us out any more chips to go with our salsa. One of my friends had asked for salsa multiple times and he never brought it. Five stars this is surely the place to be for a Frozen margarita. Might i strongly suggest Mango, it's hands down my favorite number one #1 amongst the many they have to choose from.

Sit outside enjoy their quaint patio or sit inside the staff are personable an very friendly. Female server went out of her way to keep me comfortable when i decided to move change seatings from the hot outdoors to inside. It was a very hot afternoon (hotter than I thought) wanted to sit on patio for lunch, after setting there melting, margarita ice melting, ice water melting I had had enough. my server was more than happy to help me move inside she carried my plate of food plus both drink glasses. She came over with a picture of ice to refresh drinks gave me a fresh batch of chips & salsa - indoors was the place to be that sweltering hot afternoon! Nice and cool air conditioned. Food no matter what you order is five stars. enchiladas poblano was my favorite, felt a little stingy with the Spanish rice but maybe because it was so delicious I scarfed it down before finishing the main course. Chicken Milanese is wonderful too. I can't get enough of this place it's a perfect date night, perfect afternoon siesta, perfect for families with small children as well, on any given day.
