We stopped in for lunch after leaving the airport. Allow me to note, this was the initial Jersey Mike’s experience of my life, and I will NOT be revisiting ANY location ever again, let alone this one. Our service was absolutely abysmal, and the food was subpar to be generous. We stood in line for about 20 minutes before being serviced, and once we were finally serviced, two members of my party were served immediately with no issue; their sandwiches were prepared and priced with no holdups. However, there was about a 5 minute gap between when my stepfather was served versus me, because they had absolutely zero clue of our party’s size, nor did they have any sense of timeliness. The entire establishment was treading water with three lackluster employees doing just above the bare-minimum to ensure that everyone who came in got back out by the next business day. Sorry, I got sidetracked. Anywho, once my sandwich was made, and after my stepfather and mother had already checked out for both of their sandwiches which they had received AND mine and my brother’s, my sandwich was grabbed by the topping/register worker, handed to an UberEats driver, and he went on his merry way. Once they were made aware of the confusion 10 minutes later, and had finally started to make my brother’s sandwich after putting it on an entirely different ticket, all with a line almost all the way out the door, I was finally made a new sandwich, received it, and consumed it. Allow me to further note that all three other members of my party—myself included—finished our sandwiches before my brother’s was even put onto the grill to be heated. We were furious. We had been at the establishment for 40 minutes, shoved around with confusion and lack of awareness, and quite frankly very perturbed. We warned many other customers of our poor experience, and probably managed to save the time of 10+ other potential unhappy customers. All in all, save your time. Go literally anywhere else in the Stringtown area; it were certainly be quicker, higher quality, and friendlier. Good riddance,...
Read moreI ordered an online order for lunch for my coworker and I, I only had a half hour lunch break from noon-12:30, and I also work on Harmon Ave which is not close to this location, but the closest there is, the order was supposed to be ready at 12:17, I left work at noon and arrived at 12:15. When I walked up to the counter she laughed and said "yeah, I don't know about that, haven't even started on online orders"..mind you it should of been ready at that time. So I sit down..I overhear this older lady with blonde hair tell another customer that the manager has been gone for hours and should of been back by now and she didn't know where she was. The manager comes back (an african american lady) and the older lady with blonde hair says "shouldn't you be working on online orders, these people have been waiting an hour" she says "no, I have to take care of the customers in the store", so even though an online order is meant to pick up at the designated time the "manager" says she is going to help people walking in the door first even though we have been there an hour and they just walked in. They then gave me my hot sub but refused to give me the cold sub until she was done with the new customers that just walked in, so now my coworkers hot sub is cold by the time I get my sub. I waited in that store for an HOUR for an online order that was ready for pickup in 15 minutes, people were yelling, walking out, demanding refunds. It was chaos. This will be the last time I come here, there is a brand new one I can go to in GC..no thank you, no I'm sorry, nothing..the way we were treated is just insane to me. At one point she even told me to leave and come back like what?? I am on a half hour lunch break and just drove here from Harmon Ave, I can't just leave and come back. tf. These women were...
Read moreG17 lettuce and Mayo. I had worked at Jersey mikes all through high school, 2 years in college and for a few years while transitioning to civilian life after my deployment. I typically don’t say things about places I’ve eaten but I want every customer to know the standard now of using day old bread for hot subs. 2 day old if the staff doesn’t throw it out. This is to save on food cost and though they preach fresh this is not.
I ordered my sun and specifically stated today bread. I watched the crew start making the sun on old break and said excuse me is that day old bread because i saw them grab it from a plastic bin which is were they put day old plus bread. The young girl said that’s hot sun bread which I already knew because this standard change while I managed a store 8 years ago. So I said that I stated todays bread. She responded would you like it switched? Well yes because I just told you todays bread. Making their subs is not hard, it doesn’t take a scientist and when a customer asks for something like a type of bread, todays bread, no Mayo or add bacon your paying for a product and you should get what you pay for especially for $14 and change for a simple sub.
This has been an issue in the past and like I said I typically don’t complain but even the owner Pam W. Who I have specifically worked for does not care to rectify those problems when pointed out. Maybe it’s todays generation that just has the don’t care attitude; I don’t know. But just a heads up to all the loyal customer that expect what they order, check...
