What a gem!! Yum!! Carnitas!! Comfort food that's fast, fresh and simple. They sold out of their handmade tortilla, so they gave us flour tortillas which worked too. Will have to come back to try more items, and definitely early enough to grab them with their homemade tortillas.

$16.99 lbs of Carnitas (Slow Cooked Pork) includes everything you'll need for a taco in generous amounts. We got mixed because we love different texture pieces. With 6 tortillas among 2ppl, you'll still have extra meat left for round 2 at home with your own tortillas. Takes credit card. They have specials too!! Monday - $14.99 for 2 Tortas Thursday - 2 for 1 Tacos Friday - $5.99 for 2 Carnitas Tacos.

Love the combination of sides, sauce, etc. Not many places offer as fresh of condiments to add into your diy tacos. One of my favorite comfort foods. I'll be coming back every chance I can get. Looking forward to trying their birra plates, menudo soup, and more. Eastside LAers would appreciate this place. No need to go to Broadacres Swap Meet to get my decent carnitas taco fix now.

We've seen their shop before with the Pig logo and big words "carnitas". But never thought they were actually open because I haven't seen anyone around but could be because they park in the back? The park parking could be a bit sketchy. I would try to park in the overloaded parking spots shared with bajamar...

Went here this weekend before flying out. Terrible customer service by our waiter. Over charged us. Never around. Messed up our order. Four of us. We all ordered single tacos. Gave us plates to figure it out for ourselves. All if our tacos fell apart. Eaten with a fork. Carnitas and Al Pastor nit authentic. Placed order incorrectly. Place was almost empty. Shows up with receipt at 153 dollars and states tip included.21 dollars for bad service. Seriously. Plus took five minutes to show him it was wrong. Six drinks@$5, Ten tacos @$4, Three coffee@$5, One appetizer@$12. Over charge 20 plus 21 tip Seriously don’t go here. Very rude and would not take off gratitude for Us to Select or add. I am not a disgruntled customer. We travel a lot. Eat at many restaurants. This was the worst experience in years! Don’t go here!...

Food was quick. Food was tasty & hot. Even my leftovers the next day were so yummy!! Service was outstanding. It does help that both my colleague & I hablamos Español. It's our 1st time here & ordering was a little different than other places. The staff pp were very helpful. Seems the menu is geared more to quesabirrias & tacos than tortas ahogadas. The atmosphere inside was oddly tense like when a restaurant has all new staff or is newly opened. Which might be the case here, but this is in my barrio & I thought they've been open for awhile already. I think you can get birria & consomme by the pound here too. There's also a cafeteria style area where someone makes your order right in front of you while you say what you want... that's maybe where they make the...
