It's Boba Time — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I ordered a Hokkaido milk tea (which was meh, barely tasted the butterscotch flavor) and my friend ordered a chocolate shake with boba. Waited 15 minutes for the drinks which is fine it was a busy day but then we received a taro shake with boba by mistake. We said it was supposed to be a chocolate shake and they said they would remake it. Waited while over a dozen other drinks were made and handed out. We are standing at the counter an additional 10 minutes before we are asked again what we are waiting for. We say again we are waiting for a chocolate shake with boba. We wait some more and then are asked if we want it with boba. ... Now I know it is hard to hear with masks and blenders but I was not quiet about it after waiting over 20 minutes. No apologies, no explanation, no effort to make sure they get our order out to us correctly and swiftly until after I've already finished my drink and requested 3 times the proper drink which was a SIMPLE drink. With 4-5 employees working simultaneously that is just embarrassing. Management needs to educate these employees about customer service and whoever was shift lead should...

I have a “thing” for Açaí bowls. I’ve tried them at lots of different places and I have to say, there are some stellar açaí bowl places 9 or 10 out of ten. There are quite a few really good ones 4-5 out of ten and……some unbelievably bad ones that get a 2 out of ten if they’re lucky! IT’S BOBA TIME tops my list of stellar! Almost always they’re generously filled to the top with ice cold açaí, fresh fruit & I like a little peanut butter thrown in there. Of course, there have been a few instances where whoever was making it was in a hurry and had a little left in the blender from the previous order to ALMOST make another bowl. You can always fill that gap with fruit or granola! Operative word being “ALMOST”!! All in all IT’S BOBA TIME is a 5 star 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟choice! There is a parking lot and usually there are always some empty spots which gets you off to a got start with this place. Of course, most people come here for Milktea. Their selection is great and their drinks are well done. The only thing they don't get right is the honey milktea. Instead of dissolving the honey first, they put the whole honey in your drink which makes it sticky as the honey doesn't melt well in an iced drink. What I really like is that they also have a whole set of healthy beverage choices. You can get a green juice for which they use fresh ingredients and make it right in front of you - no artificial anything added but all healthy and good. They also have a tasty acai bowl.
