They seem to have become somewhat jaded by the people who live around their cafe....my rating would be better if they didn't toss bleach water all over the entrance as well as the sidewalk. I was refused service my first (and only) visit here. " Get out, no free food, this is a business." I was looking to grab a coffee on the way to work. Guess not. I won't drop down to their level, which is apparently judgement based on appearances....I asked for a large coffee, and while looking for cash, was told to leave. I was trying to help them out by not making them break my $100 bill. I had just found a $20 when I was shouted out of the store. Sad and disheartening. Wish I knew what caused the hostility. One sentence review – great spot to grab an affordable and quick bite downtown on your lunch hour. The sandwiches – there’s a good variety of lunch meats to choose from and a good mix of hot and cold options. My favorites are the banh mi (the pork is very tender and flavorful, and the sandwich has a really spicy kick) and chicken, avocado, gouda (good mix of textures, very rich, good flavor). Their baguettes are really solid: they’re baked fresh daily and have a good texture/crunch to them. Sandwiches come with a small cup (2oz) of pasta salad. You can also get a half sandwich and a soup/salad. Unbeatable prices for downtown lunch - sandwiches run about $6-$8 for the same amount of food you'd get at a Mendocino Farms. Platform Nine and Three Quarters

Walk by here everyday for the last two years and had no idea this was here wedged between Octopus and Famima. It even has a second floor to eat! Given that everytime I'm walking along that block I'm trying not to get mugged or spat on by a crazy person, makes sense that I never saw it. It's like in Harry Potter Platform 9 and 3/4 where you have to know where you're going to find it. Don't talk rubbish! There is no platform nine and three quarters!
