The food was good and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere, but all this is zeroed by a really scandalous service. We arrive we sit down and they bring us regular water and we ask if it is possible sparkling and they bring us a bottle of hot Saratoga and we kindly ask if it is possible cold, so the hostess says she went to check and brings us the first new bottle and the second time "the cold one" already opened, and guess what, it wasn't Saratoga water (I drink it every day at home and I know the taste perfectly) it was tonic water. We order the food and while we eat the waiter arrives and asks us if we want to order the second course, and we ask him to wait a few minutes because we had just started the appetizer and we still didn't know what to choose. We finish eating and from when we finished to when we had to call the waiter because he didn't come even though he saw that we had finished eating, more than 10 minutes pass. We tell him the second course and on the orecchiette I ask him if the cilantro on the side is possible and he tells me there are no problems, but guess what? It arrived in the pasta. Then my husband and I, being waiters by education, had already put the dishes and plates on top of each other and what does he do? He asks if he should take them away.(Maybe he would have liked us to take the dishes to the kitchen and give them to the dishwasher "you joke to play it a little😂” ) Oh well, the second course arrives, we eat, we order the dessert and in the meantime he never asked if we wanted more water or more Pepsi (both finished at the end of the appetizer) è tanto meno ci abbia mai chiesto come fosse andata la serata o cibo . In addition to a bad service, the most scandalous thing came with the bill, two alcoholic drinks and focaccia never ordered, with a difference of almost $70. When we point out the error twice, he magically tells us that it was the bill from the next table (gone for over 20 minutes). A very low level service and was not even busy being 5 table including ours. We will never go back and I advise you not to do it too, even if it is a shame because the small but very nice restaurant is a nice presentation and also good dishes. I came here for my birthday with dear friends and it did not disappoint! Overall, the food and drinks were delicious and the atmosphere was divine. The service was superb, and I have to admit, I feel so special being visited with a wine binder by the sommelier ❤️ We ordered a bottle for the table that our somm recommended, really nice. They had yummy cocktails, the majority of us coincidentally got the Hive Mind, which was delicious and well balanced. Kitten Kay and Belt of Venus were also lovely. I think my favorites among what we all ordered was absolutely the crab cake! I had kinda vowed not to order it on principle, because one crab cake for $28?? But actually it's heavy in the crab and about the size of a softball. So delicious. And then the pastas were also good, but all on the salty side. We ordered the tagliatelle, sweet corn agnolotti, and the orecchiette. Salty! And this is a group who likes salty, but it could have been toned down. Sweet corn agnolotti was almost a relief to the other salty pastas. Let me also acknowledge the curated surrounding we ate in. The restaurant feels like an almost regal bank/library.
