This place would be decent if it were not for the short, bald man who refers to himself as “owner” (and I say these as identifiers not insults). Manners are what they are but he is just gauche. From the jump this little man was bugging out when I asked for something LIKE a salted caramel shaken expresso. The two lovely, professional ladies working at the counter understood my unfamiliarity with their menu, flavors, confections, etc., and made an appropriate suggestion. When presented with the simple order the little man made several unsavory, sarcastic remarks as to the complexity of the order?? Huh? I thought this was a coffee cafe where they brew and flavor coffee? He continued to complain and babble as he mixed the coffee which was not bad (could have been better without the bitter aftertaste of his whining.) I then proceeded to sit down at an indoor table while waiting for my food order when I was approached by the little man and asked to take my phone call outside. I was on my phone quietly, as I am a very polite and respectful ADULT patron. Also there were tables on both sides of me with ppl conversing louder than I was on my phone. Obviously, I will not be back, along with the person I was on the phone with, and my many industry colleagues. The self proclaimed owner seems to always reply to negative reviews with more strife, denials, and more quarreling which should be very telling as to how he treats patrons to demonstrate my point even so this was my unpleasant experience. This is not about a cup of coffee this is about treating ppl with kindness especially if you want to succeed in the service industry. Little owner your place has potential but you seriously need to work on your communication skills and treat your patrons...
Read moreBest breakfast place in Kihei !!! We just loved it so much that we had to go again!!
Serves vegetarian/Vegan options along with gluten free so it was a bliss for us!!
Their wraps are so so deliciously that I bet you can’t just have one!!!
We tried all the 3 vegan wraps - the caprese, the Valerie and the flo!! And they all tasted amazing. We also tried the bowls, we ordered twice the “gurl in curl” bowl and it was just awesome. The place is also cute and the ppl taking and serving the order are very sweet. We also ordered chai tea latte and it was good too. Overall I don’t think so anything in the menu is not good here as each time it was fully crowded with ppl sitting outside and inside both.
Good thing is that it opens up early and it’s a perfect place for breakfast. The fruits were fresh In the fruit bowls and the mermaid bowl looked too cute to miss. Overall a must must try place. Highly recommend it to everyone, specially to...
Read moreThis is one of the best lunch spots on Maui and a highlight to our trip everytime we visit the island. As a former Maui resident, I'm quite familiar with the food and drink options available on island, and this spot is unique. The food is fresh, the menu is inventive and the vegetarian and vegan options set it apart. The owners and staff are always so kind - you can tell they put a lot of love and care into their food!
I noticed a few recent bad reviews, which clearly aren't from actual customers who know this spot. And they clearly don't understand or care about the locals who have poured their love sweat and tears into their businesses, which is shocking especially in light of the Lahaina fires last year which are still wreaking havoc on the community. Support locally-owned businesses such as this one and look past the reviews from a bad bunch who clearly have no respect for the island or...
