Lawson the bartender is a connoisseur and a gentleman, be sure to get him to whip up your drinks here. The vibe is super hip with a darker atmosphere and medium volume background music (quiet compared to the bars down the road on Broadway of course ha) definitely a decent volume for conversation, so it's a great spot for more personal friendly hangouts. Roughly ten bar seats, 4 chair/loveseat spots for groups of 6-8 a piece. The hostess was a bit dry but that's the only complaint. Great spot. Tucked away in The Joseph hotel is this seductively lit cocktail bar. It’s a little effort to find but once you do you realize you are stepping in to a place that takes their craft seriously. The design and decor is a bit old school downtown flair, well executed with a warm marble bartop and back bar prominently placed along one wall and several cozy sitting spaces along the other.
