I went to celebrate my 43rd birthday in Nashville Tennessee this year in September and I had scheduled to kayak tour with River Queen voyages. Unfortunately, during my trip I became ill the day that I was supposed to go with the river Queen voyages to kayak. We called to get a refund because of the circumstance of me being ill and since I don't live in Nashville Tennessee I live in Florida I was not going to be able to reschedule it because I did not know when I would be back in Tennessee again. The lady I spoke with advise that she could only give me half a refund of what I paid because I was canceling I can understand the policy and that she was making an exception for me. However she advised me it would take 2 to 3 business days to receive the refund. We are now in November and no refund has been giving back to me. I have attempted a couple times to call with no avail. Because of this that why I rate them a one-star. I don't like dealing with companies that don't keep their promise. When they say they are going to do something they should. This should not happen.
On November 21, 2019, Annie, the owner, reached back to me regarding the situation. It was resolved that same day and the refund was placed back on my credit card that same day. Annie reached back to me via phone calls and text messages and also sent me a cerificate for credit on my next visit to TN. I want to thank Annie for jumping right in and fixing the situation. Thank you for taking ownership in the error and changing my perception of...
Read moreOur cruise was scheduled to start at 6:15pm. We were told to be there by 5:45pm. We arrived at 5:15pm. There's no sign stating that you are at the right place, but we called and left a voicemail. They responded with a text within 15 min. If you are not familiar with the area, leave a couple hours ahead of time and IF A CONCERT OR BIG EVENT is happening, don't schedule. Traffic is horrendous. Parking is a nightmare. Just find a parking garage and prepare for a Hike. At around 6:15pm we were sent another text telling us to head down to the docks. There, we waited another 30 minutes. Finally we got on the pontoon and apparently we were waiting on a group of 10. It was hot and miserable. They never showed. My husband, granddaughters and I had a private cruise. Almost a hour into the cruise we were told that a storm was coming and we had to call the cruise short. We were told we would receive a partial refund but we decided on tee shirts instead.. Even though our experience was bad, it ended up with a sweet memory that we shared with our granddaughters. They enjoyed it, so thats all...
Read moreCaptain Annie & Elliott were fantastic on our pedal pontoon ride earlier this week! Super fun, helpful, and inclusive. Along with dj'ing some great tunes, they gave us a few fun facts along the river ride. We had originally tried to book a different time slot, but unfortunately, not enough people signed up for that one. They worked fast to get us on a different cruise the same day, so it all worked out great! I booked this for my cousin who was getting married, and they made her feel very special. She had a great time, so thank you again! 🥰
Two items to note for anyone looking to book with them (which you should!): *They provide the coolers and ice onboard in the center of the pedal seats, but it's BYOB. Dont forget to bring yourself a drink! *Make sure you take the opportunity to use the Bridge Building restroom prior to the cruise. There's only an emergency toilet onboard (no enclosed bathroom).
It's completely unrelated, but i recommend walking across the pedestrian footbridge for some great views of downtown Nashville before or after your pedal...
