This is THE FREAKING PLACE to get curry in town . The vegetables are just astoundingly good and so unique (think Brussels and zucchini as well as the basic peppers , carrots , cabbage , and bamboo shoots) and , for the same price as everywhere else in town (~$20) you get WAY more food . Also they dont charge a ton to upgrade the protein (only a dollar extra for shrimp !?! Wild . Game-changing). I am a HUGE curry person , and depending on the place , I usually get like 1- 2 meals out of an order of curry , but with Koi’s , it’s more like 3+ ! It is BY FAR the thickest and creamiest vegan red curry I’ve ever had (this is saying a lot bc I usually order curry 5+ times a month and have had it at AT LEAST 50 different restaurants over the past 10 years I’ve spent living all over the southeast). Also , the happy hour tuna roll ($5 for 6 pieces) was fantastic and not “stringy” at all !!! Happy hour wine ($5 a glass) was great ! No wait on a Friday night , but also not concerningly empty either ! Staff was SO attentive but not overbearing . Food was quick but not concerningly quick . I would definitely say it’s not your upscale fancy restaurant , but it’s not supposed to be either . While I had a WONDERFUL experience dining in for happy hour , it does EXCELLENT take-out . Beautiful and clean if you want some insane happy hour deals , but huge takeout portion for the curry even if you’re just ordering for home. In summary , I’d say it’s similarly to Eastern Peak , but FAR MORE REASONABLE on the quality , quantity , and pricing . It’s more out of the way for me to get to from home compared to eastern peak , but I will 100% be making the switch !! Well done !!...

The atmosphere of the restaurant was very cold and uninviting. I felt as if I was putting people out for them to service us and actually take our orders. When we actually got our food it was HORRIBLE. My rice was inedible and tasted like it had chemicals in it. The chicken teriyaki bento box was cold when it came to me and it was so chewy and tasted like I was eating plastic. The ginger salad was gritty and horrible. The lettuce was very limp as if it had been sitting out all day. I mentioned all of this to the manager and they didn’t say sorry at all and rolled his eyes after he walked away. I would not go back and they didn’t comp my meal or even offer to take anything off for the horrible service and food. I spent $22 and I think any other sushi or hibachi place in town would be better to go to. Save yourself a trip and a...

Sushi is made very well, the rice is perfect which is an art in itself, the fish was very fresh and a great cut. I don’t love the roll combinations they offer in general (I don’t like hard things like asparagus inside and I don’t like fruit in my sushi) but that is a personal preference. Prices are on the higher side: $16-$17 a roll.

Update: 40 min later, I reduced from 5 to 2 star. Ordered summer roles to finish our my dinner with. Waited 40 min and still didn’t receive. Server didn’t check on me once. I asked for my ticket before they came so I still ended up paying for them even though I didn’t get them. Service dropped off significantly once my primary dish was served. Restaurant was 1/3 occupied. Would have given them 1 star but their sushi was made proper so I can’t...

I go to the Midtown location probably once every week and a half on average. The staff, food, and consistency are what keeps me coming back. My photos are from several visits over the last month. Pictured are the Massaman Curry with shrimp and the Shrimp Pad Thai. Those are my two main favorites but I have had plenty of other dishes over the years but I always come back to one of those. The sushi is excellent, the bartender is a cool guy and I like that everyone knows me, including my name! It's my favorite place to go for Thai food in town, for sure. Plus, free parking 🅿️ is a Nashville "luxury" and cannot be beat.

Love the feel of this place. The decor and lighting is relaxing and cultural. The food was amazing. I have eaten a lot of sushi but the combinations of flavors she the ingredients were nothing I have ever seen. The orchid roll was so tasty with the raspberry sauce. The pacific roll was delicious too with the scallops on top and eel sauce set it off. The fruit roll was absolutely amazing the combination of fruits with the rice and avocado with the raspberry sauce was the perfect ending. The service was outstanding as well. He waitress was very welcoming and friendly. Definitely recommend this place.
