I just wanted to express my absolute displeasure and disbelief in the security/will call experience I had on Saturday at a show on Aug 23– which posed a huge potential security risk on other concert goers as well as identity fraud risks toward myself.
My friend and I had 2 sets of tickets. One set under her, one set under mine. Without needing an extra set I had planned to sell them at the show to someone online. I had informed her that because my tickets are at will call she will have to wait for me to give my ID to retrieve the tickets. This is a very common thing in all concert venues. However she arrived before me and was able to get in just using my first and last name that she retrieved using my social media accounts and emails. The will call employee did not ask for ID from the name of the person on the card. They were just let in.
When I got to the front of the line and handed her my ID she said “my friends had already gone in”. I questioned her immediately saying how were they let in without government issued ID — just like what the online ticketing system said. She said she was told a different story from the girls and she allowed them in. I continued to put pressure on her to wonder why anyone was allowed in using my name without using my ID. She had no answers and had nothing beyond saying “that isn’t the story she heard”.
I propose to you some hypotheticals: A) someone committing identity fraud. B) someone who could’ve been an online stalker/in person stalker to me and pose serious threat toward me or any other concert attendee C) I was planning on using the tickets for two friends who were attending and would’ve left them with no ticket to the show because “mine were already in use”
Because of the carelessness caused by the woman who was working the will call/ticketing, the wellbeing of an entire business and their patrons was compromised. I do not and will not understand the logic and mindset of this individual as, again, there was a system in place of the purchaser to be the name on the will call. The fact that she confirmed and allowed them to enter without the appropriate information is completely unreasonable and, I cannot reiterate enough, a HUGE security threat.
Unfortunately, this has hindered this establishment and their safety protocols. I chose to email in hopes of some sort of resolution to assure trust and safety in this venue. The reply from the email was: thank you for bringing this to...
Read moreIf your band wants to play here, this review is for you.Its an easy place to pack with people 4 a show.My previous band "3 Minutes To Live" played here 10 times. (PLAYTIME) Your time slot is based on your bands popularity & its ability to draw a large crowd. If your last appearance packed the house, youll definately be headlining the shows from here on out.3-4 bands is the normal routine for a show. (STAGING) The sound system is plenty loud enough & the sound guy is easy to work with.Your gear has to be tucked against a wall(amongst the audience, which feels vulnerable to theft)beside the stage & then lifted over top of a railing to get it onto the stage. (BACKSTAGE) Its literally the size of 2 closets put together,so don't plan on doing any of the normal backstage rituals here. (UNLOADING) You get good access for unloading because you can back right up to the door, but once you're done unloading, good luck on finding any parking spaces.Exit Inn,across the street, has a parking lot in the rear if you get there early enough. You unload through the same door customers go through to enter the building.I believe load in time was at 6pm. (DRINKS) I believe band members are given free cokes, but I don't remember getting free beer or a $$50 band tab, etc. All they serve is beer,no mixed drinks or shots. No Food either (ATMOSPHERE) This place is a cool Lil spot, but if you don't like small venues, its not for you.The staff consists of 1 sound guy,1 female bar tender & the owner. This guy never smiles & the only time I've heard him speak is if he couldn't hear what kind of beer you asked for so he'll open his mouth & say...
Read moreLet’s start with the positives. Atmosphere was cool and sound quality is great! The old man that owns the place is professional and nice, but his employee Gigi was rude, dirty and not hospitable whatsoever. We waited for about 10 min with a few other people looking for a bar tender. Gigi and the owner came out and served us and we started a tab. My sister went back to the bar 30 min later to meet out tab minimum required by the bar. After waiting at the bar again with no service she walked around and knocked on the door to see if she could get someone’s attention. The owner came out and Gigi aggressively said “I can’t have you behind the bar, we’re slow and I’m working on other things back here.” My sister got another drink, tabbed out and then told me what happened. I went up and talked to the owner who was bartending, he said it was his fault. It definitely was not his fault. As we were leaving Gigi was outside smoking by the front door and started making rude comment and excuse for why she was being so rude. I told her no one cares. Your service sucks and that she earned herself a bad review. I wish better luck to whoever...
