New York Pizza — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

Let me start at the end... the pizza was AMAZING! I placed my order at New York Pizza at 12:30am and was told it should be to me in about 30-40 minites. No problem. I was tired and hungry after a long travel day, but I didn't mind waiting a bit for some good pizza. An hour went by, so I called. They assured me it was on its way and should reach me in 15 minutes. Okay, now I was slightly annoyed because I was really tired and starving but no big deal. Another 30 minutes... I call again, same story. After 2 HOURS the pizza FINALLY arrived! I greeted the delivery man with excitment as I foamed at the mouth. It was finally here! I took it to my hotel room and lifted that precious layer of coardboard that separated me from nurishment! Then... it was the wrong pizza. They gave me the wrong pizza! Non of the toppings I ordered and the wrong crust! I was so hungry, I started devouring it without a care. I called the number again to complain as I shoved another piece in my mouth. She didn't offer me any discounts, refunds or apologies. Just said thanks for letting her know. I hung up and consumed the rest of it. It tasted great! Probably because I was so hungry. Only after eating it did I recall that it had green bell pepper on it - to which I am allergic. I am not a rigid judger of Pizzas. If you aren’t great or very good you are at least a good edible option to me. However I think I finally found the first pizza in the United States that I fully couldn’t recommend to a hated rival. This is the worst pizza I have had in my entire life. I’m actually not even upset I had to wait 1+ hr to get this pizza because it provided me with a story I can share with my friends and family. If you buy 8 of the lunchable pepperoni pizza kits from your local grocery store and combine the crusts to form a normal size pizza. Then squirt all the pre packaged, processed sauce onto the giant slab of cardboard crust, followed by slathering the pizza in the the cheapest and most rubber tasting mozzarella cheese you can find you can comprehend what this pizza tastes like. But wait! Don’t forget to put on the small processed pepperoni’s from the package. When eating one of these mutant Lunchable pepperoni pizzas you might actually even think it was better than the Pizza you got at New York pizza, but that is ok, it probably is! It’s ok because you now have this wonderful experience of the worst pizza you have ever had in your entire life to share with...

I've had the WORST customer service ever from this place. I'm very shocked at how I was treated. I have called to place my order and was hung up on. So, me thinking maybe the call disconnected called back and ordered food. I ordered at 1:09am. I was told my order should take 30 mins. I didn't recieve my first call attempt from the delivery driver until 2:16am. He couldn't speak good or even fair english. For the record he was respectful, but He kept hanging up asking me to hold on and could not understand where he was to deliver. As he finally gets to me I ask him what happen and my food can't be hot and fresh because when he arrived it was approx. 2:45am. My ticket sale was over $20 and I attempted to call to speak to the manager multiple times. I was placed on hold......not asked to hold but placed on hold. The hold time is exceeding 20 mins as I type this review. Absolutely the WORST service and experience ever. NEVER AGAIN WILL I EVER ORDER A THING from that place. Very sad and a waste of my hard earned money I could be using at a place that cares about their customers. FYI I'm STILL on hold as you read this. Really wish I could have attached pictures to...
