I've been here a few times and it's been good, but the most recent visit will be my last. I got one of the new seasonal drinks, a watermelon fruit tea. After trying it I was surprised at how bad it was. I'm not one to really ever complain about my order, but this was exceptionally bad. The taste was so fake/artifical, tasting nothing like watermelon, that I just couldn't drink it. I went to the counter to let them know and see if I could get something else. Not unreasonable as that's what most places would do. They just looked at me and said, yeah that's just how it tastes. Nothing else. I asked, they didn't offer, if I could get something else. They turn to the manager for him to come over. I tell him the same thing. Didn't they tell you it tastes artificial when you ordered? Oh no we can't do that. Scammers try that all the time and we'd lose money if we did that. They're saying I'm trying to scam them? How? I'm not asking for a free drink while I keep this one. Take it back and give me something else. Or offer a refund and take the drink back. But that wasn't suggested either. My friend who had purchased the drink had to ask for a refund, and only then were they willing to do it. I've never agreed with the "customer is always right" saying, but in this case you gotta do something...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreEver since I moved to Nashville, Iāve been on a search to find my go-to boba š§ spot. Quite a few highly rated boba tea spots disappointed me in the last few months. So, I asked a bunch of locals in a group on social media where they go. A lot of them named something in Franklin, but in Nashville, Sweet Dots had the highest votes. So I decided to give them a try with āhigh expectationsā.
Iām so so happy to report that theyāre the best boba tea spot Iāve tried in Nashville. 1. Their regular boba had the best texture, was sweet, and soft. 2. Thai tea at 3-dots tasted amazing. Though I might do 4-dots next time since their sweetness level was good, not too sweet. 3. The staff was so friendly. Iām not sure if they were owners but they were very happy to greet us even late in the day.
The only reason Iām giving 4.5, is because I think the decor can use an update. I wish they had cute chic decor that I can use to post about them on social media. The sticky wall is vibrant but the indoor seating can use some...

My dad and I know very little about boba, but the staff were quick and polite in answering our questions. Thereās a sitting area in the back, and an area where you can put post it notes in the front. The outside of the building has a cute mural with some Korean on it. It was especially exciting to me as someone who is learning Korean. It was a very enjoyable experience!
We ordered the Thai Milk Tea w/ Brown Sugar Boba and the Chocolate Milk Tea w/regular boba. Our orders came very quickly. In the chocolate one, the boba soaked up the chocolate flavor- it was delicious! An FYI: The Thai tea is rather sweet if youāre not a big sweet fan.
The only thing that was an unfortunate was how difficult it was to find parkingš But thatās pretty typical...
