TEN11 LOUNGE & BAR (NOMAD) — Restaurant in New York

I was very excited to try this place especially after hearing so many great things about it. I did a lot of research on coming here before we decided to pick this lounge for a night out. However, upon arrival the host at the table was extremely rude. We let her know we booked a table and before she said anything she looked us up and down and rolled her eyes and told us we were “not up to dress code” even though two of us had $200 dress boots on, and one of us had platform heels. Not to mention, even when we were on dress code, there is nothing posted on the website stating we had to be in certain attire.When we asked what specifically about our outfits was not up to par she was searching for something to criticize. She finally decided on saying that the platform heels my friend was wearing were “slippers”. Not wanting to argue, we walked away because why would we want to dine in at a place who’s looking for an issue, when we were already up to dress code. We got no more than 5 steps away before she called us back over and said she could seat us. To our surprise when we walked downstairs, there was a guest in sneakers. It’s really disappointing for women to pick and choose who to pick on, especially when we were very excited to try this place out. Came here expecting a cool night out at what looked like a fun, stylish lounge on social media but the service? Absolute trash !! There was this female bartender with tattoos literally made eye contact with me multiple times and still kept taking everyone else’s orders like I was invisible. When she finally got around to me, it took 40 minutes to get my drink. And during that time? She’s out here dancing, chatting, completely zoning out, ignoring people trying to order, like it’s her own party. Sis, you’re working not hosting a rave. Ihad to remind her multiple times and still got nothing but eye-rolls and smug looks in return. Meanwhile, the male bartender was actually doing his job and getting drinks out. But this girl? Total disaster. No urgency, no focus, no clue how to handle pressure. Just vibes and bad service. We even talked to the people next to us they said the same thing. Couldn’t even get a second drink because no one would acknowledge them. This place probably cost a fortune to design — but clearly, no one invested in training the staff. We came here for a lounge experience, not to feel ignored and disrespected. Will I be back? Not a chance. A pretty place means nothing if the service is...
