W XYZ Bar & Grille — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

Went here with my wife a couple of weekends ago and it was a DECENT experience. Much less than what I expected. The bartender was awesome, the drinks were great, BUT there was a pretty intoxicated blonde woman at the end of the bar with a laptop who was in charged of the music for some reason?? I'm fairly positive she didnt work there, at least I hope she doesnt because she was drinking fairly heavily. Anyway, she seemed to have control of the music and constantly chose music that was totally inappropriate for the environment. My wife and I didnt really care too much but there were multiple groups in there that were totally turned off by it. We even overheard two separate couple say "oh my God why would she play this?". Definitely in appropriate to have music dropping the N word constantly at more of a classy bar(not club) that is more of a lounge with higher priced drinks and not some trashy hole in the wall bar with 1.50 domestics. Went to WXYZ Friday to celebrate my anniversary, when my husband and I entered and sat at the bar we were immediately met with a bartender who seemed extremely put out that we were there. Instead of offering us a menu she only said "what do you want to drink" so I just said do you have a menu. She seemed very upset that I asked and reluctantly produced a menu. There were two other bartenders behind the bar...all three of them looked and acted like they hated their lives. We will never return. I have never felt more uncomfortable in an establishment. Those bartenders need some serious attitude...

I would rate this a one star for the front desk blonde lady that helped us forcefully she was so bothered we asked her questions in regards room location and parking 🙄 The room and design of building is beautiful tho and location a walk to main Riverwalk in Bricktown.
