The Blok — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

As unfortunate as this is, I feel like I have to make this review. As a local that lives right next to the blok. I have become a regular and have gotten to know the staff. I come in Wednesday night to a completely new bartender “Whitney”. I walked in and was immediately scowled by “Whitney” asking for my id instead of a greeting or welcome. I immediately had regrets of stepping in, but gave her a chance. My cocktails were bland, poorly mixed. And her overall attitude ruined my experience to which I probably will not return. Super duper disappointed in the attitude of one of the male bartenders. The female owner has always been very sweet and welcoming. The one night the owner wasn't behind the bar and we had a completely different experience. He seemed irritated that our group was even there from the moment we ordered. The friend of ours that he yelled and cursed at is one of the most calm people I've known, so I was completely confused by the whole experience. Being vegan, it is sometimes hard to find many choices on a regular menu. Here, everything on the menu can be made vegan! That is why my husband and I chose to visit. My husband had the Mr. Rogers drink and couldn't believe how good it was. I had a pineapple ale that was great. We both ordered wings. Mine we vegan tossed in mango habanero, his Buffalo sauce bone in. Both were great! We got tater tots and the chickpea salad for sides. Both of these were also great.
