The two young women at the front have been consistently the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. No exaggeration. I’ve tried this place a few times but those two women consistently put you on hold and eventually hang up. Yet when I walk in it’s empty and they’re both just chit chatting.
When the food is ready. They won’t touch it or call your name. Usually one of the cooks have to come and help. The young women are typically just sitting and chit chatting. Blocking the register from actual workers. They really don’t do much except sit around and chat with eachother. In front of customers waiting to order or ask about food. Often a cook has to answer their questions. It’s honestly kinda crazy to see and would be entertaining on a reality tv show but it’s not fun when you’re just trying to order pizza or a hoagie after a long day of work.
I thanked the cook last time and told him I appreciate all his work because these two women weren’t doing anything and he said that it’s always like that.
Those two women must be family of the owner because there is no way they’d realistically find employment elsewhere and they’ll be in for a rude awakening when they get a job anywhere else.
Ive given this place 4 chances and those two women have given the same experience everytime. There’s another pizza place around the corner so I’ll just go there instead. It’s a shame because the food is good. But not worth being hung up on because they don’t feel like working or sitting and waiting for food that is right in their face only to have a busy cook from out back have to do their job.
If the owner was smart they’d fix this issue. There are several reviews complaining about the slow customer service and I guarantee it’s because...
Read moreListen. This is the pizza you've been looking for. You're hungry and you already changed into your dedicated Relaxation Pants and are three episodes deep into rewatching the fifth season of The Office. You've been here before, and each time you've been settling for any kind of bread + sauce + cheese combination you can find, but deep down you know you crave something more. You googled "best Philly pizza," or maybe you were just slowly panning across the google maps page, a vague hope in your heart that maybe one of the identical sounding pizza places around here has what you're looking for. Yes, you're a half glass of white wine into a Friday night and you just can't get it out of your mind: thin crust, oozy-cheese, classic New York style pizza. Listen to me: it's out there. Don't get discouraged by the cafeteria pizzas of this world, mosaics of lukewarm Ragu sauce and frozen shredded cheese on a soggy square crust. Look past the heartbreak of specialty gourmet $45 salmon and leek deconstructed bistro plates. You know deep in your heart you deserve a solid, reliable, delicious pizza, with crispy crust you'll want to fold to help wrangle all the glorious stringy cheese ribboning with every bite. Go to Randazzo's. Trust me. I'm a stranger on the internet spending her Friday night writing a prolonged metaphor for dating pizzas, how could I be wrong? Try this place out. Seriously,...
Read moreAfter reading reviews here, I must've caught them on an off day. The staff appears nice, but they're clueless when it comes to customer service recovery. We made an in-person order for takeout. It was a simple 2 item order consisting of an eggplant parm sandwich and a cheesesteak pizza, which was ready to be heated. 15-20 minutes later, after asking about our order, we discovered our order was never been processed. After, the more senior cashier spoke with the chefs, we were told to wait "a couple more minutes". Patiently waiting 20 minutes later, our order was finally ready. We got nothing except "have a good night ". I was too hungry and tired to say anything, so my wife and I just dined in. While trying to enjoy our meal, I recognized the staff is still somewhat busy, but they make no attempt at an apology or acknowledgement of their mistake, not even looking our way. After reluctantly attempting to walk out silently, I brought up a complaint. The senior cashier had nothing else to say but, "I was going to offer you a drink, but I saw you already had one". She only apologized after I approached her. I don't expect good service at a dine in deli, but I also don't expect to wait 40 minutes for a sandwich and a ready made pizza. Overall, this experience left a bad taste...
