Our family with my service dog stayed at the Red Roof Inn which our stay included a free breakfast at Reagan’s House of Pancakes for the next morning. This morning we all went over including my service dog .We were seated , I had my 3lb Chihuahua on my chest as I always do and the lady says “that dog needs to be on the floor because if it’s sitting in a chair the next person who sits there might be allergic to dogs “ my service pet wasn’t sitting in a chair! He was on my chest! I carry papers with me stating that my service pet is to be close to my chest in case I go into a full blown panic attack. She never asked me for any papers or even let me explain to her why he is on my chest,We asked if we could take it to go then she said no the breakfast that’s included with your stay can not be a take out, but we could pick from the menu and 20% would be taken off the bill. Hello?? So you are saying we could order our FREE pancakes with a drink that was INCLUDED with our stay and take it to go, but we would have to pay for it? That is ridiculous! The whole experience in this place was ridiculous from my service pet has to be on the floor because the next person might be allergic to dogs, from being told that we couldn’t get a free breakfast that was included in our stay for takeout but could order from the menu and get 20% off was ridiculous and to be told in front of other customers was ridiculous! Oh, and I forgot to include that when we walked in she did see my dog on my chest, seated us and went up front came back to us and in front of customers that were around us said all that stuff. She should have gotten her rude attitude towards me and my service pet off her chest upfront away from customers before she seated us in the back .People who have service dogs beware because they will look down on you and especially your service pet at this place. Oh and you better get the disinfectant out and scrub that seat down where I was sitting with my service dog on my...
Read moreThe food was great. The prices are not bad other than I was charged for four adult meals when it was supposed to be two kids meals and $14 for four drinks to me is ridiculous. The service was good. It was very busy but they kept up.
My problems are the place is very small in the area where you go to the buffet and they bring the food out. The bathroom area is right there with the buffet is when it is packed. There is a line you cannot get through because everybody thinks you’re cutting line You go to the bathroom there’s only two stalls in the women’s. And there’s two stalls in the men’s bathroom and one urinal, and with the amount of people that are visiting to eat here that is not enough of bathrooms you have a line coming out of the bathroom that is in the way of everybody trying to get to the buffet you got the buffet line in the way of people trying to get to the bathroom it’s all just a disaster people from the kitchen coming out hitting people with the door that’s at the buffet running into one the line to pay for your meal all the way almost to the buffet. It’s one big cluster disaster. The bathrooms need to be bigger. You have kids playing in the bathroom taking up stalls. The other people could use people beating on the bathroom door, complaining hollering cussing at you because you’re in the bathroom and they need to use the bathroom people outside the bathroom door fussing I understand that the place of business is not the ones that’s doing this, but it’s the fact of the place is way too small for the amount of customers And it’s not very organized. Even the parking space is there’s not enough because it is a really good place to eat. Everybody wants to eat on top of it’s a buffet it’s decently priced other than when you get charged adult price for kids meals and as I said $14 for...
Read moreWe went for breakfast one morning just based off what the menu was online, we got the buffet, which wasn't that great to us honestly. The biscuits and gravy were probably the worst I've had in the area, but slightly better than anything I've had out west. The pancakes on the buffet were gross. My daughter ordered off the menu and I tasted her food, her pancakes were much better than what was on the buffet. When we got the bill, it's not what you'd expect for breakfast and more what you'd expect at a higher class dinner. To put into prospective, our breakfast for 4 there cost more than what we paid at Dollywood in one of her sit down restaurant for lunch for 4 there. We were willing to come back again and try things solely off the menu and not the buffet again but the price for drinks alone were crazy, I'm not sure how two kids chocolate milks, a cup of coffee, and a soda equals out to $14 dollars there then add on the price of the buffet and my daughter's order. As far as the service, our server was nice, unfortunately she seemed to have forgotten us in the shuffle (it wasn't overly busy) otherwise no complaints on the service side. Needless to say, I don't think we'll actually give it a second chance. To leave on a more positive note, their decor...
