Worst service of my life anywhere in the World!! My family stops in to eat a bite after meeting with the local first responders, upon arriving the manager slaps me in the back because I walk up towards the bar with my service dog in my arms then grabs me!! Big no no!! After a brief convo with the manager, we're seated and the our server makes the decision that she's gonna refuse service!!! "I don't care if he's a service dog or not! No dog eats or drinks from the table here!" Was her exact words!! The old, dirty hands server knows who she is so I won't mention her name at this time. Cause this definitely isn't over with!!! So we leave to speak to the manager again....she's full of cocky until he tells her she was in the wrong. She just .... Stutters lol. Then wants to get our water. To late. I'm not going into my background but Shoneys, I know my little 60-70$ isn't going to hurt your business by losing us as customers. But when we visit the Pigeon Forge area 6-7 times a year, we're going to pass this information along!! NO OTHER RESTAURANT DENIED SERVICE TO US OR OUR ADA SERVICE DOG! EVER! DENNY'S LOVED our service dog! Upper management and owners will be notified very soon!!! Worst...
Read moreService: 10/10 waitress was excellent and very kind. Attentive and cleared out dishes quickly Food: 0/10 I ordered off the menu and got the Pancakes breakfast. The pancakes were undercooked. The maple syrup ruined the dish. It tasted watered down and not sweet like maple syrup should be. Couldn’t finish pancakes without the iconic maple syrup. The hash-browns were severely undercooked. Little to no brown to them. Needed to be much crunchier became they were extremely soggy and mushy. I ordered over easy eggs and one was perfect, the other was watery. Sourdough toast was perfect. Bacon was delicious. The water disgusted me. It was tap water and I could see particles moving around in it. Never coming here again. Price: 5/10 I wouldn’t have complained if the food was good enough for the price. It was around $12 for the meals but the quality of the food was not worth it. Felt like I was eating microwaved food. Paid $100 for 5 people. Atmosphere: 8/10 it was incredibly crowded and kept running into people in line for the buffet. The decorations were cute and they had lights for...
Read moreI haven't been to Shoneys in a very long time and thought it would be good for kids and decent for a good sandwich at least. Granddaughter- 4 yr old had pancake and bacon, add on apple juice. She liked her meal. 7 years old had 2 cheeseburger sliders and fries- add on apple juice. He ate some fries, one slider and half her cousins pancake. Adult son chose the buffet without checking it out, he was hungry. Disappointed with the offerings he ate half salad, something resembling meatloaf, mash potatoes with gravy and cream corn. Nosed up the rest fried and unappealing choices. I wanted soup and salad, however the soup choices were undesirable- cabbage- something like Lima bean. Second choice chicken salad with celery and grapes on a croissant. Tasted sour, soggy. Added side of fruit and came with raisins? The waitress kept asking if ready after told to give us a few minutes- annoying. Not removing dishes off the table until I put them on top of the check placed on the end. Waste of money and time. Free parking, high chairs, handicap parking and entrance can fit a wheelchair. I...
