It’s sad when waiting a long time to order and to get our food isn’t what made this visit an awful and jaw-dropping experience. A customer a few people ahead of us ordered some food, which included a 20 piece nugget. He requested these be fresh, and specified that at least three times. He paid and stood to the side while the employee took everyone else’s order in line. The young man that ordered the nuggets watched the employees preparing the food, which he has the right to do, to make sure they were in fact fresh nuggets. He saw them put the old nuggets in the box and hand it to him, so he let the woman who rang him up know. She told her shift manager, and he came to the front and said he took out the old nuggets and put fresh ones in, with attitude and a very unpleasant tone. The customer requested fresh nuggets, since these were not. The manager went to the back and made new nuggets, however, a different customer was ordering at this time and heard the manager and another employee say something about SPITTING IN HIS FOOD. She kindly told the original customer and he requested a refund. The manager was called back to the front to do the refund and he said to the customer “so you didn’t want these nuggets and i made you fresh ones and now you want a refund. I’m not giving you a refund, you are going to have to talk to corporate”, then proceeds to slam both boxes of nuggets in the trash. So not only did he not get a refund, but his food (containing the spit of another person) is now in the trash…..I have NEVER personally experienced this type of behavior in my life and could not believe it. This poor man was ordering chicken nuggets for his pregnant wife and just wanted fresh nuggets, and this is the treatment he received by a manager. So moral of the story, pay attention and never eat at this Wendy’s. Read morewent thru the drive thru at 8:30 p.m. and I tried ordering 3 baconators she asked me what size single double or triple I told her what ever the $7.29 is the young lady ask me again what size I then told her what ever size the $7.29 was she then gets a older lady on the speaker and I was asked the same thing a third time I repeated my self which ever one is $7.29 then the lady said there was a description on the board I said I don’t see it all I see is a baconator , the meal and son of the baconator then she said that is the double I said what is the double and she said the baconator I said that is what I been saying. then she told me to take my business to arby’s so I pulled up to the the window and asked for the food i ordered and she told to leave that I yelled at the young lady she heard me on the earpiece. I said I never yelled at her she said I’ll call the cops I said go ahead then she calls the cops and tell them that I cursed at her employees she keep lying to the person on the phone I said that you are lying she shut the window so I couldn’t hear her and then the cop pulls up asked what happened I explain and then he spoke to the older lady and she told a bunch of lies not even what she told the operator on the phone. he told me that I had to leave because he couldn’t make them serve me and I said I want you to know that everything she said was a complete lie he said there is your side her side and a third side. Read moreIf I could give this place a zero I would! After visiting smoky mountains with my family for 2 days we decided to try the Wendy's on pigeon forge before we headed home to Nashville. Boy o boy did I wish there was a big warning sign before we entered!! Not only was customer service horrible but the food I can vomit just writing this! We waited 30 mins for our food and this Wendy's was fully staffed too, the lady taking orders was so horrible, made me pick up a wrong order and to yell at me from across the restaurant " ma'am that's not your food" then says loudly again, " just keep the food, now I have to make a new order". Like how is that my fault you told me my food was ready ! Then we sat patiently thinking maybe our food will be super fresh because we waited 30 mins for it but that was the least of that case. Disgusting paid 55 dollars for 5 of us just to get undercooked Chicken and fries and my son's hamburger was undercooked too with more mayonnaise on there then the meat itself. The chicken sandwich were not only undercooked but oozing out clear liquid, I about threw up when that liquid squirted out, we all lost our appetite and I hesitated to go complain to manager at first but I said no this isn't right I paid 55 bucks for all this food and no one ate a bit of it.
