5 Stars – Absolutely Phenomenal Lamb Steak Plate!

I had lunch at Ace's Gyro Shack today, and let me just say—this was one of the best lamb steak plates I’ve ever had.

From the moment the plate was served, I could tell I was in for something special. The lamb steak was perfectly grilled—tender, juicy, and bursting with rich, savory flavor. It had just the right amount of char to give it that smoky, mouthwatering aroma without overpowering the natural taste of the meat. Every bite was a masterclass in how lamb should be cooked: succulent inside, seared outside, and seasoned to perfection.

The plate came with a generous portion of fluffy, aromatic rice that soaked up the lamb juices like a dream. The pita bread was soft and warm, ideal for scooping up the meat and rice together. And let’s not forget the tzatziki sauce—creamy, refreshing, and garlicky, providing the perfect cool contrast to the bold flavors of the lamb.

What really sealed the experience for me was the attention to detail and freshness in every component. Even the side salad was crisp and vibrant, not an afterthought like at so many other spots.

I just had the most unfathomable experience here. It was my first time. I ordered the lamb steak gyro. Someone brings food to me. It looks like a gyro wrap, but I figured that's how they serve it. A few minutes later it turns out that I received someone else's order. The main guy then blames for me eating a few bites of the wrong sandwich and REFUSES to give me the food that I ordered. I still cannot believe it. I can't recommend literally any other place in town enough.

UPDATE: the restaurant has now responded to my review with downright lies that they know are untrue. I explained at the restaurant that no one called any order number and I did not "pick up" the wrong food. An employee brought the food directly to me and placed it in front of me without saying any order number. I clearly explained this the first time they tried to blame me for being delivered the wrong order. Now they have reiterated this falsity in response to my 100% accurate and truthful review. Shame on this establishment. It is preposterous to blame the customer for receiving the wrong order and to withhold their actual order under any circumstance, but especially when it is...

I was at this place like a week ago and it's decent I don't consider there customer service that great as it seems they only had 2 workers which was the guy who was cooking and a girl who were suppose to be taking the orders but the guy that was cooking who might be managing the restaurant seem like he cared to only get his dine in orders out right away instead of having to take my order first as he told me to go have a seat while he was cooking before having to take my order. First off I dont think it's worth it for almost 20 dollars I paid like 18 bucks for it and the portion was really small felt like. As I take a few bites the rice was more warmer than the chicken as I seen him cooking fresh chicken before taking my order but other than that I might not want to come back to this place due to how high price it is for little portion of food that will not get you full. I've gotten the chicken plate it had too much rice and not enough chicken felt like but who knows I might try to give this place a try again and...
