My husband and I have been searching for Halal chicken over rice with veggies AND with the delicious sauce- white-red- and green. UGC DID NOT DISSAPOINT !! It’s been over a year, and we have finally found a place that reminds of us of home (EAST COAST) if you know, you know. The chicken was so moist, the rice had a full flavor, veggies had the perfect crunch of freshness, the SAUCE- ughhh, there’s no great chicken platter with out your sauce. Portions was perfect, I couldn’t finish my plate but boy did I try. I am a snob for a fresh falafel, and they did it. Chef kiss, nice and soft in the center, crisp on the outside, green falafel sauce to dip, and I loved the kick. If I could give this a higher rating I would. Establishment was so clean, the staff was so friendly, and to top it off, I love a family restaurant because they care about your experience. I love it, and I can’t wait for you to love it. SALT LAKE NEEDED THIS. I can’t wait to come back!!! My belly is so happy and full! I was so excited to eat I forgot to take a pre picture. Don’t think...
Read moreA great first time visit with good food. We came at the right time and got our food at decent timing. I got the chicken gyro which was full of flavors and a. Hint of spice (which I am sure can be asked not ok add if not your preference. My partner got the walking taco. The only other thing I would have gotten is regular fries for the side!Overall We both enjoyed!
The owner Tony was a pleasure to meet and I hope Gods favor showers over you as you continue to contribute to society.
For a new place since July 4th you can tell more growth and improvement will come along naturally as experience is gained. I look forward to seeing the transformation of the decorations as time moves forward and the enhancement of options to choose from and customization.
As this place continue to grow I would keep in mind healthy alternatives. One suggestion I would make is to include “healthier” chip options for the walking taco and allowing a chicken...
Read moreWent here because of all the reviews but I do not see what everyone is so hyped about. They didn't even warm up the pita for the gyro. They pulled it out the bag and scooped the meat and stuff on it. The chicken platter comes covered in sauce. There is no description or photos of how it's served. They don't ask you how you want it. And NOWHERE on the menu did we see that it would be spicy. I like a little spice but wasn't expecting it. Especially so much. The chicken was so spicy I couldn't finish it. The flavors are good. The gyro meat seems different and why was that a little spicy too? They have Coke products in a can. The guy at the counter didn't seem in the mood to be there. He was short and impatient and not helpful or informative. Parking sucks because it's downtown. Not worth it. We...
