This place has potential to be great but the service is some of the worst I have ever seen. I tried to make a reservation online assuming I might need one for brunch on a Sunday, but the link on the website wasn’t working. I messaged their instagram page and asked - someone replied, asked for my name phone number and email & said I was all set. So we get there yesterday, there’s no host stand so I go to the bar to ask the bartender about the resy. I believe her name was Ivah and oh my god, she seemed pissed off at me from the start but when I said I had a reservation, it’s like this was the craziest question this girl had ever been asked LMAO. She could not believe that I had made a reservation because apparently that’s not a thing here. Girl I am from NYC where you need a reservation anywhere so please forgive me. I said “if we should go sit at an open table, just say that!” Truly should have just left at this point but we did stay. Ivah is the only one working at the time so she ends up being our server as well. Again, she just seems mad at us for existing & I also pretty much waited on us ourselves since I had to go find napkins and silverwear to bring to our table. I will say, the fried pickles were some of the best I ever had which is where the 1 star comes from. Food was good and drinks were cheap. We were one of the only people there for the first hour but then a crowd came for the DJ/band and it was an interesting vibe. Now another bartender is on, don’t know her name but another terrible attitude like I’m inconveniencing her everytime I ask for something. When we finally get the check, I bring it to the bar to close out and all 3 bartenders seem pissed off that I did that too and were clearly talking shit. I was trying to help because at this point it’s super busy. They add an automatic 4% tip to the bill which is hilarious and great because that’s what they deserve and that’s all they got. I think they should change the name to Poor Decisions as it was a poor decision to stop in here...again. I knew this place was new and decor is super cute but the first time we stopped in the service was terrible. And by that I mean there are a handful of people at the bar yet I don't get acknowledge for sitting down for awhile and then takes a long time to get a drink after that. BUT I decided to try them again because I thought the space was promising.... POOR decision. Service was exactly the same. We sat down at the bar. Bartender doesn't even acknowledge us. Finally the SECOND bartender brings us menus. Seriously?? There are TWO bartenders plus a third guy, not sure what he's doing, but nobody is waiting on anybody. There is nobody in the entire place except at the bar. Yet all staff are in the corner talking/texting/etc. They keep going inside for who knows what. This place deserves to shut down. I literally had to wave someone down to close my tab even though I sat with an empty drink for over 10 min. Again...3 staff working and 9 patrons, yet I can't get anyone to actually wait on me. Guy next to me came in and sat at bar and also had to go inside and flag someone down to get some service. Then, to top it off, after I waved someone down for my check, and interrupted her texting session, which she finished while ringing up my check, they didn't even honor the happy hour menu listed right on their website. 🚨BEWARE- Don’t use this place for your venue. We had our annual company event here, agreed to a price of $10K which is the document I signed. This place decided to fraudulently charged my card almost an additional three thousand dollars a week after the event was over after just paying them almost $10K, Keep in mind the event was paid for in full the day of. Very unprofessional and bad business practicies. They said the additional charge was because the event went 1hour longer when They initially said we could stay till 2am and they will close our tab down at 10pm. This was a Sunday night when they are usually not busy as well. Alecia their event coordinator is very unprofessional, lied multiple times and was not pleasant to deal with she also was not helpful and did hardly anything for us. When I showed up I had to physically move stuff and wipe down dirty tables with one of their kitchen staff who helped me while their other staff sat at the bar and drank. I still have no resolution from the owners, they keep stringing me along, they asked me to take time to meet with them and talk. I agreed and they canceled our meeting last minute.
