My family and I arrived at this establishment with high expectations fueled by positive reviews. The open seating arrangement upon our arrival was a welcome sight, as it ensured a more relaxed atmosphere due to the lack of crowding. The venue itself boasted cleanliness and an airy ambiance, setting the stage for what we hoped would be a pleasant breakfast experience.
Upon entry, we were instructed by the attendant at the counter to peruse the menu before approaching to place our orders—an organized process that we duly followed. While the breakfast items, such as eggs and bacon, were satisfactory, and my husband enjoyed the Breakfast Crepe, the overall experience was marred by a significant lapse in service.
Regrettably, I must assign a two-star rating primarily due to the inexcusable lack of attentiveness and professionalism exhibited by our server. During the delivery of our meals, our server carelessly dropped my 16-year-old daughter's plate, causing it to collide with her hot cup of coffee and resulting in burns. The incident was not an accidental mishap; however, what truly compounded the issue was the absence of any acknowledgment or apology from the server.
This disregard for basic courtesy raises serious concerns about the level of service provided. It is disheartening to note that, despite having prepaid a 20% tip, the incident occurred, leaving us questioning the appropriateness of such gratuities.
While we typically refrain from making scenes, the lack of professionalism displayed by our server was evident to those around us, prompting gasps of surprise from fellow patrons. In light of this experience, I advise future visitors to exercise caution and withhold gratuities until the quality of service has been assessed.
In conclusion, our breakfast outing, while initially promising, was ultimately overshadowed by a lapse in service that left us deeply disappointed. We hope that our feedback serves as a constructive reminder for the establishment to prioritize training and customer care to ensure a more positive dining experience for...

Our family of 4 stopped by MeMe's Cafe for dinner in Aug 23, 2024. We chose the place based on excellent reviews but our experience was 4 stars at best. Though the food was mostly good there was almost no service. I'm surprised to see all the reviews praising the service as we didn't get any. We sat inside and had to order food at the register. There was only one person taking orders and serving the tables. The food was brought quickly but we were missing some utensils. Then I had to come back to register a couple of times for some mayo, ketchup, napkins and had to wait as the person was just not there. This was a bit frustrating as the food was on the table, I was hungry, and my family was already eating.
The burgers and chicken sandwich were excellent. Perfectly done, fresh, flavorful, and overall enjoyable. The sweet crepes we ordered for dessert were not as good though. They were folded in several layers with toppings above all. Hey, you don't need to fold an empty crepe four times, take it easy on it :) Make it smaller, single layer and put some toppings on. Or put toppings and fold once. Maybe savory crepes or kids menu ones are better but sweet ones from main menu are passable.
Overall, we can recommend MeMe's Cafe for its food but you should have no expectations on service. You may get lucky though, judging by others' reviews.
Food ordered Mushroom Swiss Burger - medium rare as ordered, fresh, and juicy. Teriyaki Burger - tasty and flavorful. Buffalo Chicken Sandwich - excellent. Kids chicken strips - our daughter loved it and finished quickly. Momma's crepe - too big and thick due to multiple layers. Bee's Knees crepe - - too big and thick due to...
Read moreOk, I really really liked this restaurant and the people working there!! After an afternoon in the cold water of the Narrows, we were starving and crepes sounded so so good. Guess what though, they really were too!! The lady at the counter was very nice. The family ahead of us asked if one of their kids could get a breakfast menu item cheese omelet and she got it for them even though it was 8:30 pm at night!
I also loved the ambiance - diner with antique clocks and frames all over. Their music was perfect for my alternative rock soul.
The food was excellent - we got the veggie grilled cheese with onion rings, the bbq crepe with pork and the Momma's favorite crepe with Nutella and bananas. The grilled cheese sandwich was perfect in that it had a slightly higher proportion of veggies than cheese, which is how I love it. The bread itself was also buttered up, so it really filled my stomach and soul. The onion rings were great. They gave us waffle fries by mistake and they were delicious too!! No ketchup needed because the fries had some spice to them. The BBQ Crepe with pork, onions, cheddar cheese and a house made bbq sauce was very nice, but a little too sweet for my taste. My friend enjoyed it thoroughly. Now, the Momma's favorite crepe was the highlight of his meal for sure! For those who love Nutella and bananas, this is your dream crepe. It is stuffed, has chocolate drizzle on top and some whipped cream. I had a bite and even my banana-hating self had to admit it was really good!
We didn't have too many leftovers so you know that the portions were pretty perfect for what we needed. All in all, a great experience and I highly recommend them if you're...
