MADE Coffee — Restaurant in Stillwater

Sadly I sat there waiting to be asked today for what I wanted. I sat there as they were busy. I waited for everyone to get there order, and depart. I sat silent, Smiling. Two more people came in they knew and took their order. No big deal. Then when I thought I’d be asked what I would like, another customer came in. They asked them what they would like as they also knew them. Instead of getting frustrated, I walked out. I’ve stopped many times and it was good. As a home Barista I would rate their coffee 3 to maybe 4 star. Compared to most American coffee shops definitely 4. Sadly first time I saw a rude side. Our final stop on a wonderful day getaway to Stillwater. It's at the base of the staircase and I actually didn't even know it was here until we descended. Seems to be built into this really swanky new looking hotel. The inside of the store is quite small, but it was well staffed and they moved us on through. We got a standard cold press and a latte. The cold press in particular was smoother than one would usually expect with that kind of drink, and it really matched the warmer weather we are just starting to enjoy. Very impressed with their espresso. Probably the best I've had in the twin cities area. What makes it even more impressive it's that the baristas use manual level espresso machines which requires much more skill compared to automatic machines. I was impressed immediately walking in but even more impressed after tasting it myself. MADE should be proud of the drinks they provide, especially in a world where everything is more and more automated. I have a deep respect for that. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in...
