Sweet Place — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

I would not go back to this place neither would I recommend going here. I had asked about their gelato flavors since there was a huge sign at the front that said "gelatos and sorbet." The young man who worked there said they didn't have any and it was an old sign. Okay, so I got a hand dipped single serve ice cream. I was being charged $13 and change for a single serve ice cream with a waffle cone. After asking about the price, I noticed he had charged me for a double scoop AND a credit fee. When I was paying with cash. As a tourist area that already charges 11.5% tax on prepared food, stores like this will also charge you a credit card fee without letting you know of that fee. I have seen it done in many stores in this area and they should have signs letting you know of the extra fees. Super cute and convenient spot near the beach but the crepes are awful! I stopped after dinner over the weekend craving a Nutella, Banana, and Strawberry crepe. The only reason I didn’t make my own is because I was traveling. In any case, I ordered the “Classic Crepe” which contains the ingredients I noted above. From what I could see, the crepe appeared to prepared correctly and I took it to my hotel across the street to enjoy. I’m not sure if the Nutella is thinned out to cut cost but for $20 after tax, this was the saddest crepe I’d ever attempted to eat. The Nutella was almost watery and made the crepe VERY soggy. I’m in Virginia beach for the holidays and I tried this spot and it becomes nearly like an addiction. I tried all the cold drinks they’re tasty. But the crepe nuetella banana strawberries is the perfect I never tasted, I recommend you to tried it with a milkshake or a ice coffee you’ll thank me.
