The sun-drenched chaos of the Wildwood boardwalk calls for a culinary anchor, a place that delivers on classic boardwalk fare with a creative, delicious twist. That place is, without a doubt, Grab a Weiner. This isn't just another hot dog stand; it's a destination. The name itself is a cheeky nod to the fun, carefree atmosphere of the shore, and the food lives up to the hype. The menu is a vibrant tapestry of hot dogs, specialty fries, and deep-fried delights that will have you debating what to order for hours. Let's start with the stars of the show: the wieners themselves. Whether you opt for a classic foot-long or one of their unique creations, you're in for a treat. The "Tornado Dog," with its pulled pork, slaw, and BBQ sauce, is a flavor explosion that perfectly balances sweet and savory. For those who like it spicy, the "Hell Hole" and "Mr. Sunshine" are fiery and fantastic. And the "Super Sonic" with macaroni and cheese is pure comfort food genius. But it's not all about the dogs. The loaded tots and specialty fries are a meal in themselves. The nachos are a testament to their dedication to quality, with what seems like homemade, crispy chips and generous toppings. And for dessert? Forget about it. The fried Oreos and funnel cakes are the perfect way to cap off a truly epic boardwalk meal. The staff is friendly and efficient, navigating the constant summer crowds with a smile. The humorous merchandise adds to the fun, making it a great place to grab a bite, a laugh, and a souvenir all at once. Grab a Weiner is more than just a place to eat; it's an essential part of the Wildwood experience. It's the kind of spot you'll be dreaming about long after your vacation is over, and the first place you'll head to when you get back. Do yourself a favor and make this a top priority on your next Wildwood trip. You...
Read moreDid they put the price sign up? -----The food was great and tasty. My husband got the giant corn dog and it was delicious. I got the unicorn Funnel cake and it was also delicious. Regular funnel cakes are $9. I got the unicorn Funnel cake for $14. The price I paid for those 2 things - $32. Why did I pay that much? In the window display the unicorn Funnel cake shows a large funnel cake with 3 scoops of ice cream, sprinkles and mini m&M's. Here it was because ice cream was $5 extra, which I thought was included because of the display, the man did ask if I wanted ice cream when I ordered but I thought that was because of flavor preference. The funnel cake area and display does not say that ice cream is not included, but there is a small section not next to the funnel cake section that says 2 scoops of ice cream for $5. I said that the way they show their display and not stating that the ice cream is not included is deceiving. He offered a refund because I was unhappy. I declined the refund because it's not about the $. It's about price transparency to your clients and integrity. He said he would put up proper signage stating the ice cream is...
