Picture this: It’s our first day in Vietnam. Jet-lagged, sweaty, and mildly panicked about navigating gluten-free dining in a land of noodles and mystery sauces. Enter Hong Hoao, the holy grail of Vietnamese cuisine and dietary salvation, which we discovered thanks to Find Me Gluten Free.

The moment we walked in, Tee, the absolute hero of hospitality, swooped in like a culinary superhero. With the grace of a diplomat and the expertise of a seasoned chef, he decoded our dietary restrictions faster than we could say “Pho real?” Tee didn’t just help—he cared. He made us feel like royalty about to feast on treasures from his kitchen kingdom.

And those treasures? OH MY SPRING ROLLS. We’ve lived a life, eaten spring rolls from five continents, and yet nothing compares to the crispy, golden perfection that hit our taste buds that day. Forget love at first sight—it was love at first bite. We’re still dreaming about them. If I could, I’d write a sonnet about these spring rolls.

The Pho? Divine. It tasted like comfort, nostalgia, and magic all simmered in one perfect bowl. The traditional fried pork? A crispy, succulent masterpiece. We didn’t just eat; we ascended.

And the balcony? Oh, the balcony. We sat overlooking the lively streets of Hanoi, watching scooters defy all traffic laws in a chaotic yet mesmerizing dance. It was like dinner and a live-action movie rolled into one.

If you’re in Hanoi and miss out on Hong Hoao, you’re committing a culinary crime. The food is unforgettable, Tee is an angel in human form (but cooler because he’s real), and the whole experience was an epic kickoff to our Vietnam adventure. Go there....

Exceptional Service I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hong Hoai’s , a charming Vietnamese restaurant that truly stands out for its exceptional service and delectable dishes. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for a memorable dining experience. Bun Cha: The Bun Cha at Hong Hoai’s is a must-try. The grilled pork patties were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, offering a delightful smoky flavor. Accompanied by fresh herbs, vermicelli noodles, and a tangy dipping sauce, each bite was a harmonious blend of textures and flavors that left me craving more. Banh Xeo: Another highlight of my meal was the Banh Xeo, a crispy Vietnamese pancake filled with succulent shrimp, pork, and bean sprouts. The pancake was light and crispy, while the filling was savory and satisfying. The accompanying fresh greens and dipping sauce added a refreshing touch, making this dish a true delight. Personalized Service: What truly sets Hong Hoai’s apart is the personalized service provided by Finn. Finn's attention to detail and genuine care for the guests made the dining experience exceptional. He took the time to explain the dishes, recommend pairings, and ensure that every aspect of the meal was perfect. His friendly demeanor and dedication to providing top-notch service made me feel valued and appreciated. Overall, Hong Hoai’s offers a wonderful blend of delicious Vietnamese cuisine and outstanding service. Whether you're a fan of Bun Cha or Banh Xeo, or simply looking for a place with personalized and attentive service, this restaurant is definitely...

If you find yourself in Hanoi, do not miss the chance to experience a bowl of pho that truly captures the essence of this beloved dish. From the moment the steaming bowl is placed in front of you, the rich aroma envelops your senses, promising an authentic taste that is hard to beat.

The broth is a masterpiece—deeply flavorful, with a perfect balance of spices that have simmered for hours to create that signature depth. Each sip transports you to the heart of Vietnam, where every ingredient tells a story. The fresh herbs and vibrant garnishes are a delightful contrast, adding freshness that complements the rich soup beautifully.

The quality of the ingredients is evident in every bite; the noodles are perfectly cooked, and the meat is tender and flavorful. It’s clear that the chefs take pride in their craft, ensuring that each bowl is a reflection of traditional Vietnamese cuisine.

Additionally, the staff Quan is incredibly welcoming and attentive. Their English is quite good, making it easy to ask questions or seek recommendations. This adds to the overall experience, as you feel both comfortable and cared for.

In summary, this bowl of pho is a must-try for anyone looking to indulge in an authentic culinary experience in Hanoi. Rich flavors, fresh ingredients, and attentive service combine to create a memorable meal that you won’t soon forget. Highly...
