Title: "The Crayola Kingdom: Quest for the Enchanted Palette"
Once upon a time, in the whimsical world of Crayola, there existed a magical realm where colors danced, doodles came to life, and imagination reigned supreme. This enchanted land was divided into seven distinct territories, each governed by a wise and vibrant Guardian of Color. These guardians were chosen for their purity and the unique hue that resonated from their hearts.
In the center of the Crayola Kingdom stood the grand Color Palace, where all the colors lived in harmony. The palace was a kaleidoscope of hues, with walls made of swirling rainbows, windows of gleaming silver, and a roof that shimmered like the night sky. It was here that the most sacred artifact of the kingdom, the Enchanted Palette, was kept. This mystical tool had the power to bring any vision to life with just a single stroke, ensuring that the world outside remained a canvas of boundless creativity.
The guardians had safeguarded the Enchanted Palette for centuries, but when a mysterious shadow began to spread across the lands, stealing the vibrancy from everything it touched, the council knew that something was amiss. They realized that the palette had been stolen by the wicked Color Thief, a being born from the darkest corner of the forgotten Colorless Wastes, where hues feared to tread.
The guardians called upon the most creative and daring of their subjects, a young artist named Ember, to embark on a quest to retrieve the palette. Ember, armed with nothing but a box of ancient crayons, set out on a journey through the seven territories to uncover the thief's lair and restore color to...
Read moreThis is a store we get to only twice a year, three times max. Every time it's a pleasant experience. This store/company understands that having ample staff and stocked shelves are key to customer satisfaction. Our most recent visit was the day after black friday and even though the entire mall was packed like sardines, it was STILL an easy going atmosphere inside the Lego Store.
Service: Yes, always friendly people. We've been going for years and it's solid every time.
Atmosphere: Open concept with little to impede the middle of the store. While I wouldn't bring a motorized cart or wheelchair during the peak hours on the weekend, I'd say one could easily navigate the store with mobility supports or strollers during off peak times. The store is just bright in general. It may be overstimulating for some kids but for mine personally, she just loves the place.
Product: Legos last forever, man, what else can I say? There are pieces I played with as a young child that are still usable to this day. Always hit up the Pick-a-Brick. Always. They often have windows, doors, and roofing tiles that are far more expensive if you order them online. Bring a tall person with you though as the top row of the Pick-a-Brick is above the easy reach of most people.
Criticisms: I just wish there was a Pick-a-Brick with more core building pieces. I get that there is always the option to go to the website but the shipping time on the more obscure colors is like three months. By then my kid wants to build something entirely different so it's just me at a table, looking at my notes, which kinda defeats the point of ordering in the first place. Just...
Read moreLego Store at the MOA is a "must see" for anyone who visits the MOA. Even though my "children" are now full adults and have long ago "flown the coop", I still stop in to the Lego store to gawk at the incredible Lego boxed displays that they feature in (and above) the store.
Of course, the prices here a high, but there are Lego sets here unlike any you can find online or at any other store.
The staff at the Lego Store MOA are always very friendly and helpful, and are quite diligent in keeping the display windows clean and germ-free (thank you!). I, as an adult, love to simply watch the little children going gah-gah over the Lego creations throughout the store. They want to see the designs from top, bottom, and all sides. They laugh and point and plead with their parents to purchase it. So fun!
Here you can purchase individual blocks, block sets, and Duplo's for the little ones, too.
I personally always stop at the Christmas window displays outside the store to "window shop" the three or four special Lego creations that are behind the windows (with NO prices listed). This year, the center window contained a full replica Lego model of the Titanic (yes, "that" Titanic). The details were incredible, and every interior floor was true to the original ship. Another adult male stood next to me drooling as I did; We both laughed at the thought of the cost of this unique Lego piece. Take a look at my photos.
If you or your children love Legos (and who doesn't??) I would highly recommend that you walk through this store while at the MOA; It's another amazing experience you...
