Today is Saturday, January 11, 2025. I called this morning around 10:30am and was fortunate to get two appointments for 1 hour each, on the spot. One at 11am the other at 12pm. I was fine not having the massages happen simultaneously. The alternative was to wait until 5pm. I'm not one to get a massage just for the experience of feeling good after a spa treatment or even to relax. I went because I had been experiencing muscle tightness (fatigue) in my right shoulder and arm. I needed the pressure relieved from that. My therapist said her name was Lee and that she have 20 years experience doing massages. My experience was amazing and the pressure/tightness was gone when she finished. It wasn't just a body rub with lotion or oil. She applied the necessary pressure, pulling, and massage techniques that relieved the tightness and provided the relief I was seeking. She even left the room during the massage to get my daughter to share with her where and how to perform the massage to my targeted areas to aid in at home massages. Lee also recommended at home exercises for me and gave me a heads up on how I might be feeling the next day and instruction on what to do. I'm writing this review while sitting in the waiting room, waiting for my daughters massage session to end. I'm still feeling great 40 minutes after my massage. I was willing to pay the ridiculous price being charged at nearly every spa in the Dells area to get some relief. As I stated earlier, I'm not into the whole spa thing just for the fancy facilities and the cost associated with going to a nice spa. This place is not at all fancy or elegant. It is clean, reasonable and fair prices. The deep tissue massage that I received was performed in a professional manner by an experienced therapist. The room was quiet, warm and comfortable, dim lighting, with soft music playing. Hot towels, lotions/oils etcetera were used. All the bells and whistles of a great effective massage without the extremely high fees charged elsewhere in the Dells. Lee got the job done for me. I definitely recommend this salon and I will surely come back when visiting the Dells. Thank you Lee for a...
Read moreDO NOT GO HERE. This was the worst "massage" I have ever had. I do not understand how there are any positive reviews. I had two major problems with my experience. The first was that this was not a massage. I went in for a 90 minute deep tissue. I had lotion rubbed on me for 75 of the minutes which is not what I paid for. I am not sure this could be called a massage. Additionally, I asked for someone who could do deep pressure but instead was using lotion aggressively and my therapist had rough hands. Secondly, the atmosphere was horrible. I was cold the entire time. The blanket did not cover my feet (I am 5' 9") and they were extremely cold. The environment was not conducive to relaxing. The walls are extremely thin and the music from the spa only comes from the common space as there was no music in the room itself. I could hear every phone that was answered, conversation that happened, and running water. To make it even worse, the spa shares a wall with a tattoo parlor and that was the main music I listened to. Not only is this a waste of money, it is a waste...
Read moreHorrible. There is a reason they are available when everyone else is booked last minute. As if the massage wasn't horrible enough..anything but relaxing like we had asked (and told them 2-3 times before the massage). Was a couples massage and was very inappropriate at times (we called and asked our PROFESSIONAL masseuse from back home). On top of all that..when leaving, the owner was extremely rude and unprofessional. My husband gave him $210 for a $208 massage (not even worth what they charged, much less a tip). The owner looked straight at him and asked "is this the tip?"!! Um, NO!!!! After being completely pressured for a tip for the worst massage ever, my husband ended up giving him an extra $20..to which the owner replied "oh, only 10%?". Wow..after we left we wanted to go back and ask for our tip to be returned. Don't be fooled by the good reviews on here....DO...
