I recently dined at a restaurant that offers a unique blend of modern Japanese and Hawaiian cuisine alongside pizza, making it a great choice for people looking for diverse dining options. The food was simply amazing, with the salmon cooked to perfection, giving it a soft and delicate texture that melted in my mouth. It's no wonder why the restaurant has managed to attract a growing following. The salmon and tuna tartare dish was beautifully presented with an artistic and colorful display of the ingredients, making it a feast for the eyes. The tuna tartare portion size was impressive and is enough to satisfy the appetite of even the hungriest of diners. The taste of the dish was outstanding, and the salmon's delicate flavor was not overpowered by any seasoning or sauce. The tuna tartare was equally delicious, with a refreshing taste that complemented the salmon's flavor profile nicely. The high-quality ingredients shone through in every bite, making it a well-balanced and flavorful dish. The service was excellent, with the staff being friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the menu. Despite there being few other diners during our visit, the service was prompt, and we were well taken care of throughout our meal. The restaurant was surprisingly quiet, which gave it a cozy and intimate ambiance that we enjoyed. The decor was modern and tasteful, contributing to the restaurant's overall vibe, which was relaxed and inviting. The price of the salmon and tuna tartare was reasonable, given the quality of the ingredients and the top-notch service. The overall cost of dining was in line with similar establishments, making it a good value for money. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a unique dining experience. With a fusion of modern Japanese and Hawaiian cuisine, along with pizza, there is something for everyone. The salmon and tuna tartare were a standout dish, and the overall quality of the food, service, and atmosphere makes it a must-visit.

We had a very nice dinner here last night with some small lapses in the food and service. Overall, a very nice change of pace from the bustle and din of the chaotic restaurants on and off Broadway, it was a more upscale and quieter dining experience. Most of our food was great. We started with the lobster bites and they were epic; scrumptious chunks of lobster in a decadent creamy sauce on crisp crostini. Amazing start. Next up was their pressed sushi; sashimi tuna stacked with avocado & spicy mayo. It was beautifully presented and fairly good, but the fish was not as fresh as it could have been and took away from the flavor. Next was the spinach and artichoke dip, and it was a major disappointment. None of us enjoyed it, it was way too watery and didn't have the typical heft you'd expect from this dip. My wife had a seasonal pasta with Mexican street corn and it was heavenly, just amazing creamy flavor with the sweetness of the corn with a little heat to balance it. I loved the bites I sampled. My main was the filet mignon and it was a very tender and a specially rare medium rare cut. It was quite flavorful and while it could have benefited from some bearnaise, it was robust on its own and well accented with the demi glaze. Dessert was hit and miss. The lemon mascarpone cake was very moist and tasty but the chocolate cake was dry and flavorless, felt like a basic cake from a supermarket. Service was great throughout but there was a minor issue with the check at the end which they quickly corrected. Overall, a very good experience and recommended.

If you're looking for a fun, club-like atmosphere to celebrate a Birthday or Anniversary dinner... Look no further! The Rutledge is stunning from the moment you walk in. Very elegant atmosphere, an impressive wine room that is lit up with blue lights, a massive chandelier that hangs over the first floor bar, a balcony that wraps the restaurant with a great view of Nissan Stadium and a DJ spinning tracks! And I haven't even mentioned the food yet!... I have to give a huge shout out to our server, Blake. From the moment we sat down at our table on the balcony, Blake was so attentive, checking on us often, and gave us great menu & drink suggestions. We started off with Lobster Bites, Shrimp Wontons and Tuna Crisps. I'm a big fan of appetizers and all three were very good, but the Lobster Bites were the standout IMO. For entrees we got the Filet Mignon Sushi Roll, Ahi Tuna and the American Wagyu. All beautifully plated and the flavors were spot on. The next time I go back, I'm getting the Lobster Mac & Cheese as a side. My friend got it with his Ahi Tuna and we all sampled... Wow. The Wagyu was amazing, perfectly grilled. That was my first Wagyu experience. Now I know what all the hype is about and it was worth every penny. Drinks were fun, check out my video on the Smokey Maple Bacon Old Fashioned! We were all too full for dessert... That will have to wait for next time!

I never leave reviews but I felt this one was needed. My family and I went here over the weekend and we enjoyed ourselves. My family included five people. For starters, the food was great! However, our waiter who I believe to go by the name of Steven. He is a white male looked to be in his 40’s with blonde hair and tall. On the original receipt of our bill totaled $200+, which we were fine with paying. I instructed Steven on what to charge on my card and the rest on another card. He proceeds to come back with ONLY the authorization receipt and took a tip my mom handed him. He give us the authorization receipt and immediately leaves. As we are looking at the authorization receipt; the total was not adding up to what was on the original receipt. We had to asked the host could she get our waiter. We ask him why our cards was charged more than what was on the original receipt. He looks at us as if he is confused. I had to constantly tell him the receipt he gave us showed $200+ and he still proceeds to act confused. We both can’t be confused here. The ones who should be confused is the customer b/c the charges are not adding up. He goes to get a copy of our receipt. However, on this receipt it is a little different from the original $200+ copy. I look over this new receipt of almost $300.00 and noticed a $40.00 gratuity charge. I asked why was the gratuity charge left off the original receipt b/c if this was the case I would have not allowed my mom to tip him again. He proceeds to give a bogus answer. Sir you looked to have been working here long enough to know about gratuity so I’m not understanding why you are confused. I thought his antics was very conniving. As I continue to question him, he spoke on how the table beside us that seated a group of black women were asking the same questions we asked. My assumption he used the same conniving tactics. So, if you dine here be on the look out for a waiter that likes to get over on customers by leaving off and not informing us of extra cost until after swiping cards. What’s crazy is we were going to tip him if gratuity wasn’t on the receipt, but the fact you took an extra tip from my mom knowing you had already been tipped shows your true character. Outside of our waiter, we enjoyed the food and environment but his actions is what we cause to receive...

Not sure where to even start with this review. Made a reservation for 10 guests on a Saturday evening. Because our guest list was significantly cut back to 6 guests we decided to check it out an hour or so earlier to see if we could be accommodated early. I can understand if you're walking into a packed restaurant / bar and this request can be accommodated...I can assure you there was maybe 20 guests thought the entire building. If we could not be seated earlier, that wouldn't have been a problem, we would have happily had some cocktails. With now 6 guests, they squeezed us into a booth that no more than 4 guests should be seated in in order to really enjoy their meal. Honestly for the amount of money you're potentially about to spend no one wants to sit elbow to elbow while enjoying dinner. While we're crammed into this space, one of our guests checks the place out (it is a beautiful environment). There are multiple tables that can accommodate us more comfortably but our request was denied. So then instead of sitting here we decide to go to the upstairs bar since there were TVs there. This was a HUGE mistake. The bartender seemed offended that we even sat down and wanted to grab some food & drinks...you would have thought that waiting on guests was not her job. Took nearly 10 minutes to get 3 drinks and those 3 drinks cost $58 (I understand many people can exaggerate this but the owners should scan the cameras). We're more than happy to pay for good, craft cocktails & some appetizers with an engaging bartender. Since she was not friendly, not efficient and not quick...we finished those 3 drinks & left to go enjoy an evening elsewhere. Yes the place is beautiful & I'm sure they have amazing food...we will never know because the staff member was so uninviting. They do have a vending machine with Moet....might be the highlight while within the establishment. Being in Nashville with hundreds of other establishments with fine dining and amazing service, you're better of finding somewhere else that is much more inviting and make you feel appreciated for spending your...
