Great experience, we went on a Saturday morning and a storm was coming but the captain was able to keep us dry and safe. Refreshments were sold on the boat which was a nice surprise. They don't accept cash so have your card ready. The history part was based on what you see along the river. If you are looking for a relaxing thing to do to pass the time or enjoy the ride we definitely recommend. This is not a party boat but we enjoyed listening to some music and stopped for a photo op on the boat. Lightening struck very close to us but we felt safe in how the crew handled themselves. Nashville water taxi and pontoon saloon is absolutely the only way to go if you’re coming to a Titans game. It is the coolest experience to ride on the water to an NFL game. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and more accommodating. The convenience of the entire experience was unbelievable. You drive to the parking area which had attendants and security, wait in a really cool out door lounge type area and then board the pontoon. We recently experienced the water taxi on the cumberland. It was pretty good and the boat crew did well. The history they told was about 85 % accurate, 15 % inaccurate. My father was a history teacher for 37 years and he taught 100% of Tennessee / Nashville history, the good and bad. Also in Nashville there is a rich history of African-American leaders, educators, schools, doctors, etc that were never mention on our history boat ride. Also the Native-American history was barely mentioned and a few details were inaccurate too. History needs to be taught in its entirety or not at all. All that being said it was a good trip on the...
