This place has a long way to go before it can genuinely justify the glowing reviews it currently has. My family and I booked two rooms for two days based on the seemingly extraordinary feedback, but comparing it to reality, I can only assume most of those reviews are fake.
First, the location is far from ideal. While it’s not too far from the Pyramids’ main entrance, the hotel is tucked away on a back street that feels unsafe, especially at night. The area is crowded with camels and horses, and there are no facilities nearby, making it necessary to take a cab even for short trips. Walking feels risky, as scams or robberies could easily happen due to the isolated surroundings. Staying closer to the main entrance, where there are more people and a generally safer environment, is a much better choice.
Second, the rooms were awful, no matter what type you book. Queen, king – it makes no difference. The rooms reeked of smoke, the bed linens had holes from cigarette burns, and the ceilings were peeling and even falling in some places due to moisture. Almost all the furniture was broken, and the showers were poorly maintained. Some bathrooms didn’t have hot water, and the water pressure was inconsistent. To make matters worse, the Wi-Fi was unstable, and we couldn’t get a connection in the evening. Complaints to the owner were met with dismissiveness, as he told us to “be quiet” and refused to fix anything.
Third, the breakfast was another letdown. Despite being advertised as included, nothing was served on the first day. On the second day, we received a simple meal of eggs, cheese, beans, bread, and fries. However, during checkout, the owner demanded extra payment for the tea and coffee, claiming they weren’t part of the included breakfast – something no one mentioned when it was served.
This place is a complete sham. From the unsafe location to the poor condition of the facilities and the dishonest behavior of the owner, it was an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. Unless you’re absolutely desperate, avoid this hotel. There are far better and safer options closer to the Pyramids’...
Read moreI had the privilege of staying at the Nefertiti Pyramids View, hosted by Mohammed and his colleagues, during my recent trip to Egypt. I must say, the experience was nothing short of incredible.
First and foremost, the view of the pyramids from this location is absolutely breathtaking. It’s like having your own private front-row seat to one of the world’s most iconic landmarks. Waking up to the sight of the pyramids right outside my window was a surreal and unforgettable experience.
Mohammed and his team were exceptional hosts. Their warmth and hospitality made me feel right at home. They went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Whether it was providing local recommendations, or simply sharing their knowledge of Egypt’s history and culture, their support was invaluable.
Additionally, I want to give a special shoutout to Tour Egypt Club, which played a crucial role in making this trip memorable. Their seamless coordination, transportation, and expertise in organizing tours and activities in the area greatly enhanced my...
Read moreThis hotel is a scam. The "good reviews" you see on Booking.com are written by the hotel staff themselves. You can tell because many of them mention an "incomplete stay," which means those positive reviews were not from actual guests who stayed there. You should focus on the low-rated reviews because those are the real ones.||||I personally stayed at this hotel for two days, and it is located in a very dirty area, right next to horse carriages, making it extremely chaotic and filthy. The rooms are outdated, many facilities are broken, and the hotel has no hot water, so you can't even take a proper shower.||||Most importantly, the hotel owner and front desk staff are completely untrustworthy—they are outright scammers. Breakfast is supposed to be included, but they charge extra for coffee and tea. Moreover, there is often a group of men smoking and chatting on the terrace, which feels very unsafe.||||I strongly advise future travelers: for the sake of your safety and to ensure a pleasant trip, do not stay...
