The Platinum KLCC By Castle — Hotel in Kuala Lumpur

This property is a scam with a number of very concerning issues. Their name on Google is The Platinum KLCC By Castle and they have very low reviews. The face suites (seen here on booking are a separate hotel) and nothing to do with this awful property

Issues we had :

They could not find our booking and text us on the day asking if we had a booking with them…we had to show our phone confirmation added 3 percent of tax when we paid by card (without warning us before) we needed cash for the deposit (which we also didn’t know and were not told before) and when we refused as we didn’t have cash they put pressure on us. They refused payment by card check in took 25 minutes and there is no real check in area at the hotel we needed to check out at 07.30am, they said no one could be there so we had to give back the keys the night before. This meant we couldn’t use the lift or go in and out of the apartment. Extremely dangerous - if there had been a fire we were stuck on the 33rd floor took them an hour to come to us for checkout and was difficult to get our cash deposit back, the guy came with wads of cash and didn’t know which was ours (super sketchy!!) check in took 25 minutes and there is no real check in area at the hotel we needed to check out at 07.30am, they said no one could be there so we had to give back the keys the night before. Worse experience in Kuala Lumpur, they forced us to cancel our booking because they knew we would leave a bad review, everything started to get to a sketchy point were I caught the “manager” talking about me with someone else and when I arrived that changed the subject. Dirty apartment and horrible service, we learned that day that the pool was unavailable and did not proposed any solution, someone as pure luck mentioned as a solution going to the one in the other building, but our “manager” was not able to give that solution before?

Anyway, we ended up booking a different hotel and did not spent the night there, for obvious...

Why am I giving 4 stars... Most of the rental room, good for family travel 'only'.=3 ppl. Room network not bad. Kids like the youtube access and left parents alone. Lol. Washing machine in the room. Clear clothes everyday. Minimize my luggage size : D Of course, the price... 3nights in KL with 20mins walking distance to those giant Malls. Perfectly burn whatever eaten. :) Reading room + the gym reading place + gym + pool view. Working air-con with dryness mode. (My default air-con setting. ) (Also bring my own bed sheets.
