Roxy Hotel — Hotel in Los Angeles

So if you read my reviews, it has all you guys want to know about this hotel. I stayed here for 3 nights during 2017 year end. Most of the pictures of AD are correct and location was good for my stay. They do not have daily roomcleaning as they have mentioned on net. Staff said that they clean after 3 days of check in. So I trashed my garbage by my own. They haven't help me. Staff is non supportive and not professional. At reception, I have been asked for cash which was about to cost me more $8; later on I insisted for credit card payment with no extra cost then they agreed. It was suspicious for me. Staff also charged for extra $20 for keeping the luggage for some hours which is usually free in all hotels. I roamed around the world, visited hundreds of hotels but none of them asked me for luggage service cost. Meaning, they will try to ask for more money and make benefit of your inconvenience, so do not get bullied for extra prices. Room was decent but with many stains on wall. Services were basic. Good to sleep but not that luxurious as other hotels offer. Room was not fresh like other hotels. This hotel has lower prices but I would highly recommend that book other hotels though you pay $10-$20 extra/night but you will be tension free from hidden costs and non supportive staff. Ultimately even though they cost lower prices, it was not worth it; this is what I heard from the other guests stayed with us. You wont get hot water for shower till 11 am. Where do I begin …. Honestly shut this place down code enforcement !!!!!zero parking in fact the Arabian guy at the front desk tried to bribe the cross eyed security guard next-door in the overnight parking with beer …to let me park however claimed my car would be locked in and I couldn’t take it in and out… bums were hanging out on the front steps of hotel…no AC …bed was tiny room was small and dirty …bathroom smelt ….flat screen on the wall was barely a 20 inch….And he only three spots at the hotel has the hotel owners have broken down cars already parked and surrounding parking all sign say no parking from 8 AM to 8 PM so pretty much there’s zero parking good luck I checked in and demanded a refund not even 30 minutes later …motel six up the street much better and closer to Hollywood walk of stars…Don’t trust that nasty Arabian family at this hotel if they want it it’s disgusting otherwise they’re just living there for free and putting up with all the madness ..to stay here ull prolly leave with hepatitis C… it’s gross shut it down run and hide...

No AC. Place smells bad. Bed was very uncomfortable. I just felt like the place seemed dirty. Its only like 3 miles from the Chinese theatre but we didnt care for the place whatsoever. Their free parking is an alley, Where they made me park blocked in other cars and other cars then blocked me in. If I wanted to leave after checking or before checkout then other people would have to of moved their cars. If anyone else wanted to leave I would of had to wake up and move my car. Thats what they told me. Also I had to display my room number on my dashboard which didnt seem very safe. The area around us seemed fairly sketchy. They locked the front door but then left the back door open all night. The reservation was under my name but we were going to pay with my girlfriends card.
