We did the 4-day Salkantay Trek, and it was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. I had never done a hiking/camping trip like this before, but I am so glad I did it. Salkantay Trekking had great instructions on their website to adequately prepare me for the trip. The guide was incredibly experienced, fun, patient, and helped make the most memorable trip. The chefs were creative in their dishes and accommodation for those with dietary restrictions. The accommodations were unbelievable. The Sky Domes and Andean Huts were the coolest places I’ve ever stayed and just the right amount of glamping after a long, difficult hike. I did the 5 day grueling awesome trek and cant say enough about it. It was very physically demanding but was worth every bit. The cooks and our Guide Ricardo was probably the best people I have ever met. They were very accomadating, kind and very passionate about their job. Arranco diciendo que es totalmente recomendable y me gusto el servicio recibido. Contratamos salkantay 5 dias. La excursion salio muy bien, sin problemas. El guia Uriel, excelente, nos regalaron una remera muy linda. Las comidas muy buenas, no falto nada. Nos dieron pilotos y cubre mochilas. Bien los transportes. Porque no 5 estrellas: porque hay detalles que no pueden ser ignorados y hacen a la experiencia final. Los domos son hermosos, pero al llegar fallan cosas: el domo con vista a las estrellas, literalmente no podiamos ver las estrellas en una noche 100% despejada, salias del domo y era hermoso, dentro del domo nada. No se si el vidrio estaba sucio o que.... encima, durante el dia, el domo era literalmente un horno y por la noche una heladera (esto ultimo era esperado). La cama muy comoda. Lis segundo y tercer domos: muy lindos, hermosas camas, muy lindas vistas. El jungle camp con fogon muy lindo. El comedor de collampampa (algo asi) genial. Ahora.... ninguno tenia toallas,ni una, y las duchas (que fallaba mucho el agua caliente) no tenian mamparas ni cortinas por lo que se mojaba todo el baño, dificultando todo el proceso de bañarse.
