Good luck returning anything here. This is not my first time having issues with this location. I’ve bought over 20 pairs of shoes here and my last two trips were horrible, I should’ve stopped after the last one. About 7 months ago, I purchased a pair of 1461’s in size 9’s. The worker (shorter, brown hair with tattoo behind ear) packaged them and sent me on my way. Well, went home and took them out and she gave me a size 7 pair of 1461’s in a different leather. Called and asked why that happened and got insane attitude, so bad that her manager had to apologize and tried to make it right. When I came back for the exchange, she gave me the RIGHT leather but the WRONG SIZE. Had to come back a THIRD TIME. Store manager tried giving me shoe care, laces, socks, I wanted none of it. This Sunday, went to buy 3 pairs of shoes and did. Liked them when I bought them and went about my weekend. Took them out of my car today and they looked used. They had dirt on the boot soles, peeling in places, cracked, very bent, and scratched. I own this leather in other boots and have not experienced this. The other pair I got were so painful due to width and heel slipping they were friend. You’d think after spending $500 they would be kind when you return 2 out of 3 pairs, nope. They inspected my shoes and didn’t listen to what I said, instead kept asking if I wore them outside (didn’t, I called and explained how awful they looked out the back ahead of time), cut me off to say that the leather just does that, and gave me attitude the entire time. I finally got my refund after they inspected the shoes literally 5 times, not even kidding. Respectfully, as someone with many pairs of these, the quality of the shoes that are not MIE are not high enough for the price tag. Staff knows this and wants to keep their sales since no one will buy these anymore. I...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I visit this store every time we visit the mall, which is fairly frequent, and have never had a problem. The employees always greeted us (at least the usual two I see there always did), and we're big fans of the brand. We went in two days ago with the intent to buy a pair of boots, and there was a new employee I hadn't seen before, a redhead girl. We were not greeted, my boyfriend had to approach her to ask if he could see a pair of boots in a couple different sizes. She never said a single word the whole time she was helping us, she got the boxes and didn't address us at all, just stood there staring at the boxes until we walked over to her and my boyfriend tried on the shoes. She didn't tell us about any other necessary products and barely said anything as we bought the shoes and left. Two days later, as he'said been wearing the shoes all day, my boyfriend notices the shoes don't even have insoles. He calls this location to figure out why or see if he has a broken pair of shoes, and is met with an incredibly rude response. The girl on the phone blows him off and ends the conversation with "I don't make the shoes." He had to call a store in Chicago, eight hours away from us, to be told that the insoles come separate. I don't know the name of this employee since we weren't greeted, she didn't wear a name tag and she didn't tell us her name, neither did the employee on the phone who I assume is the same girl, but whoever she is does NOT need to be working in customer service. Because of her negligence and apathy to her customers, we have to drive an hour back to Bloomington to get insoles that she should have informed us on in the first place. I will no longer be giving my business to this store unless I see the other two ...
Read moreI bought a pair of shoes as a gift. The sales associate never told me about the discount they had going on. I found out about it and asked for a price adjustment a couple weeks later. The sales associate insisted I brought back the shoes (which I already gifted) to do a price adjustment. I work in retail and have been in retail for a few years now including management. To bring back the shoes for a price adjustment isn't necessary considering I was leaving with the exact same pair. I was not returning them. I left the store but forgot my receipt. As I went back in to get it the sales associate was already talking down about me to another associate. This is extremely uncalled for. I called customer service and they assured me the store manager would get ahold of me. The store manager never did and it has been 2 weeks. If I had not gifted the shoes I would be returning them all together as it is still in their policy time frame. This is the worst service ive ever experienced and will never be shopping there again!! Especially a place that finds it acceptable to talk down about...
