I absolutely LOVE lush(: been going there for maybe a little over a year now. Never thought to leave a review before haha. The staff is amazing and always has been! About a year ago after discovering lush, I decided to apply, after not really being fit for the job, I was super nervous about walking back in. Just to avoid awkwardness and stuff. Once I finally went back they were still super sweet!, some of the girls even remembered me and ask me how I’m doing! As a customer my experience just gets better and better! If I’m feeling like I wanna be left alone, they’ll ask if I need help and if not leave me be! If I want to be interactive, ask questions, and try stuff they’ll help me with that too! The other day Scout helped me for almost 30 min! (Which is a while considering I know most of the products) she really made a connection with me and helped answer all my questions and even gave me a few small samples! I could write for hours about how much I love this location and the wonderful people who work here! The other big thing I love is the managers, they aren’t always in the back doing stuff or on the sidelines, no matter the position they have, they are always out interacting with customers. I’ve also noticed that they are really good about pulling other employees aside and helping them as they go. Anyways! I’ll stop babbling! I would 110% recommend that you stop here! It’s a wonderful experience! (Also just remember! If they seem a little pushy, it’s just part of their job! Just tell a lady that you’d prefer to look on your own and they’ll totally respect you! (: ) everyone is super...
Read moreIf you're looking for a great store that's dedicated to customer experience, then Lush is the place for you. Lush is a huge supporter of DEIB (diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging), which is so important to support. They not only give a great 1:1 experience, but they also support causes like donating to Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women and Children, or doing Random Acts of Kindness for others. Every month, they pick a different cause to support and donate to, which builds a lot of awareness as well. I love that on the back of each product, they have an ingredients list and bio about the person who made it, as well as listing that the products are natural, sustainable, high quality and ethically made. I had the pleasure of interviewing with them, and although I didn't receive a job offer (I am neurodiverse, and I struggle with interviews), I highly recommend shopping with Lush and working for them. I really don't think that you can find a better place to work for or shop at.
P.s. the Outback Mate handsoap is divine! It has a very invigorating and masculine scent and the soap is a very large blue bar and applies easily to the hands! I also recommend their...
Read moreI understand masking and social distancing but this store takes it WAY too seriously. The process they have to check out now is extremely unorganized. They require you to wash your hands when you go in the store and there’s only 2 sinks. There is only a handful of people allowed in the store. There are HALF the products available that there used to be pre covid. There are only 1-2 employees working the floor to let you smell a “sample” of SOAP. It is extremely cumbersome.
Halfway through our shopping experience a MANAGER stopped me in front of many shoppers and employees and told me, loudly, I’m not allowed to remove my mask to drink my drink I had in my hand. Then she gestured to another employee to help us look at something very rudely. It seems counterproductive for a manager to yell at customers while they other employees work extremely hard to guide customers and check them out.
This was a horrible experience for myself and my small family. We all felt embarrassed and ashamed to be there. I’m disappointed as I thought Lush was an inclusive and peaceful store to shop at. All the employees were very stressed and cross...
