We stopped by Cuvee later in the evening on New Year's Eve. The place had a sold-out event beginning shortly, but we were treated graciously and grabbed a table in the piano room. There were a couple of other rooms in the place, affording a little more privacy and intimacy if that's your thing. The "wine bar" has just that... wine! The wine list is a thoughtful collection of wines curated from the US and around the world by the owner Taylor. It's also a piano bar, where Andy, the co-owner and husband, plays fun sets of sing along music!
We shared glasses of champagne and cava inside, with a "sweet and salty" bowl, a combination of popcorn, stick pretzels and dark chocolate chips. It was a fun combination! The wines were good, hat tip to the champagne... LOL When it was time for the event to begin, we moved outdoor to the very chilly front porch, but heaters and blankets provided by the wine bar kept us cozy. Delightful evening chatting with the various folks who came and sat outside with us. More champagne and popcorn keep things lively!
It was a fun evening, and Cuvee was very hospitable. Taylor and Andy have created a very inviting space (the chairs could be more comfortable... LOL), where guests can spend a few minutes or a few hours enjoying wine, music and singing. The more the merrier! We'll definitely get back by Cuvee! PS There is an air b-n-b loft room for rent upstairs, looks really cute, cozy and comfy. Check it out on their website. We may try that next time...

Read moreWe booked for a 7:45pm last night and paid a pre fee of 45 for three of us (15.00 per person) when we arrived someone else was sitting at our table and we were told when they leave they would put us there. They didnt they immediately sat another table and left us at some random table top. We had a guest with us because we had been ranting about this place with prior experiences and we normally come here to enjoy one of our favorite bottles that they no longer had. Our guest was not impressed we left within 15 min and paid the reservation fee for nothing. Another thing is to have people there that can recommend wine when we asked our server what they recommend since they no longer carry our bottle we like they couldn't cause they don't drink wine. The reservations need to be handled in a more strict manner with allowing people to sit at the table that didn't have a pre reservation. Needless to say we won't be coming back. Your better off not having a reservation and just going and seeing if you can get a table on your own since it seems easy for...
