MADE — Local services in Jackson

I thought I would take a chance on placing an online order from “Made” for an advent calendar. I paid for expedited delivery but unfortunately, it doesn’t tell you what delivery company they use or how fast it is. It just says cutesy phrases like “found something good” meaning you want it fast. I want to know how it’s being sent and the estimated time frame but like I said I thought I would take a chance because they have cool things. Boy was that a mistake. They use the United States Post Office which is so unreliable and takes forever even if you purchase expedited delivery. Had I know. They USPS, I never would have ordered from them knowing I wouldn’t be able to count on it being delivered timely. So when the tracking number they gave me kept saying label has been printed just awaiting item to aaruve at shipping facility. Well it said that for three days then just disappeared on my end. I called made and they weren’t any help or even seemed to care. They said they could give me the shipping department’s email address and I could email them. Well that’s not helpful because you have to wait until they read it and respond to it and that takes several days. So I’m stuck! Made is no help with this at all. I will never order from them again. Maybe they are fine if you shop at their store in Jackson Hole, but I don’t suggest online ordering with them. They use USPS and don’t care about it once it leaves their hands. It’s themn up to the customer to figure things out and find out if their package is actually moving through the system or lost. USPS is not a reliable way to ship items, tracking is poor and you cannot count on it...

I really love the products from this store, but as a customer who has ordered online, I am very disappointed in the customer service. I purchased a pair of earrings a few months back and the earring wire broke as I tried to put them on the third time I went to wear them. I know things happen, so I took a picture and sent it to the customer service email address. No response until I followed up with more emails. Then I was told they would happily send a replacement part and it would take about 10 days. Great! However, after 3 weeks, nothing had arrived, so I emailed again to follow up. I couldn't get a response for a week and it took multiple emails and me calling the store for someone to finally reach out and say they would send the replacement part. The following week, I finally received the replacement. I'm glad they resolved this issue, but it didn't feel right that I had to follow up so many times to get it fixed. I'm sad to say I won't be ordering from this...

I adored this store! So MADE is in gaslight alley, and everything they carry in here is all locally made from what i gathered. They had the cutest jewelry as well as handmade kids clothing, even the cards were all uniquely made and I hadn't seen them anywhere else so I do think they were made in Jackson Hole.

They had really cute tourist items and I loved that it was all by small businesses. I think it's so cool to think about the fact that Jackson gets most of its income from tourists I'm sure, so if the tourists are buying items that are made locally, all the money is going back into this towns own economy which is wonderful!

It's also so unique and these are items you can't get anywhere else so they are specific to the persons trip to Jackson and just great memorabilia. Nothing here was cheaply made or tacky either. Everything was made will very gentle care and every item seemed like it had been individually made and not...
