LAZ Parking - 725 Grand Ave — Local services in Los Angeles

LAZ works with Mayfair Hotel in LA, very likely with many other hotels too. They claim to provide "valet service" for the hotels. BE CAREFUL HERE.. If they give your car to somebody else "by accident" they simply deny being responsible of losing your car. Stay away from this parking if you still want to keep your car.

Their portfolio manager comforted me at first when I found out, he paid my hotel fee, rent a car for me and said I can keep using it for a month, he said wether the car was found or not, his company is fully responsible of this issue, he promised to provide me surveillance camera footage, he had me written down all the personal items that were in my car, he also suggested me to collect all the receipts of those items and I did.

Eventually they simply deny being responsible of losing your car and they will nicely suggest you to use your own insurance coverage. Meanwhile they will firmly suggest you to return the rental car before the agreed date, because they need to close the case and you are...

The service at this parking structure is absolutely terrible. Our car was broken into on Memorial Day, when someone busted both back windows on our vehicle. We we’re terrified and wanted their assistance in helping us locate missing belongings and find whoever might have done this. One representative actually had the audacity to say that we shouldn’t have left anything in our car. On top of this, we were told that we couldn’t view any camera footage without a policeman present. When trying to leave to go to the police station, another rep said that we actually had to pay to leave!!! Your actually going to charge me for parking in your structure when you couldn’t even secure my vehicle for a few hours during the holiday? You have got to be kidding me. Whoever is behind the security at this location deserves to be fired. I would have rather parked on the street, at least somebody would have saw something in regards to this break-in....

Very tricky rule, about “pay and leave” customers easily to be cheated money, be carful before you pay. Btw, don’t pay at the ticket station just pay at exit gate (we didnt know its ok to pay at the gate. We followed their sign ‘Pay here before go to your car’ but after we paid then went to 3rd floor to take car, lots cars ahead need to wait in line to exit, when we about to get out, ww need to pay extra which we also paid max. $14/day already”

What we feel frustrated is not about little extra money need to pay, we frustrated about their unclear and inconvenient policy make people confused.

Also, i suggest manager that is better to write 2 more sentences to clarify policy and avoid confuse ..etc but his attitude made me even more frustrated. Not...
