I ordered a coat on the 24th of October. I needed it for an event. I noticed that my order said unfulfilled online after 8 days, I contacted them by email. 2 days later (10th day) I was contacted and told that they didn't have my size, so my coat was being made. So here we are on the 19th day and my order still isn't fulfilled. If they didn't have my size why take my money and make me wait? Also, I have been calling them and leaving messages to no avail. I also sent two more emails to their email address. For high ticket items, it would be simpler for them to get a tracking system for orders. Even though it didn't come in time for my event, I paid for the coat and still want it. Note to Blue Duck Shearling: Update your inventory online to show if you have the coat in stock, it should be the customers decision as to whether or not they want to sit and wait for a coat to be made. Not yours! Also, you conveniently state on your website that there are no refunds. So, I'm not even given the option to get my money back and go to a place where they have a coat in stock.Your customer service is: No customer service. 19 days since ordering and still the order has not been fulfilled! I have 2 coats and a vest from this amazing shearling showroom and love them all. The company has been around a long time, has a very good reputation and sells to major department stores. Top quality, snuggly and lightweight, the items all have deep leather pockets for cell phones, which is essential, and closures that keep you warm. They have classic styles and also more modern trendy ones. Once a year after the main season ends, they have a sample sale whereby customers are invited into the showroom to purchase at wholesale prices, basically a gorgeous shearling for under $1K, half the retail price. But this is not a normal sample sale, because not only do they have already made coats that are leftover from the season, but for a similar price they will customize to your exact measurements, add a hood, make it longer, etc. That other customers on yelp complain about the service astonishes me. WOW - I just bought their all weather rabbit fur lined parka called #1129 reversible down & rabbit lined storm coat in Cocoa. Beautiful brown color and plush fox fur hood. Lots of room for wearing layers. They had a sale when I purchased it and I'm amazed at the quality for $350. Theres no shedding from the rabbit lining (Even Neiman Marcus fur that I've bought has shed on me and this doesn't!) While I personally prefer the fur inside, it looks like a fun coat to wear out if you wanted to reverse it with the fur showing. I feel like there's no companies making quality items anymore so when I used this coat for the first time this winter, even in extreme wind, its obvious that Blue Duck's quality is above and beyond!!
