Terra Cotta — Local services in Savannah

They don’t allow returns. Store credit or exchanges only. No idea if they have signage up. If there was it wasn’t predominant enough. All three of us didn’t see any signage on returns. I was looking at the lovely assortment of merchandise which is what they want you to do. I bought three items and needed to return one. They REALLY should cover this verbally with patrons at the register PRIOR to charging their credit card. I have been to the store before, but friends usually did the purchasing. I brought my friends there because I told them how wonderful the merchandise was and they are shoppers. We went TWICE on our week long trip and spent at least 30 minutes each visit in the store. I will never bring friends there again. Thankfully I live within driving distance of this store, but it really upsets me how terrible they are to their patrons. I live in AZ but was in Savannah to visit my daughter and celebrate my birthday with her. I have shopped at Terra Cotta numerous times and since we were downtown we decided to go into TC. I must say that from the moment we walked in the sales people were far from inviting or cordial. It was a hot and humid day in August, so we were not looking our best, but is that a reason to treat people like their less-than? Another gem in Savannah's historic district that will have you coming back. The arrangement of clothing, accessories, body care etc is well thought-out. You feel like you need to go through the store at least twice lest you missed something on your first round. The staff is friendly and helpful without being cloying.
