Fresh, bold flavors with standout Vietnamese staples and generous portions.
Le Banh Signature Banh Mi: A textbook example of tradition done right. Loaded with pork and spices, this sandwich packed a punch—balanced beautifully by pickled daikon that cut through the richness with just the right tang. The baguette had that essential crunch, acting as both flavor enhancer and texture MVP.
Pork Belly Bowl: Vibrant, satisfying, and full of character. The pork belly was perfectly seasoned, pairing beautifully with a sweet vinegar sauce that lifted the whole dish. Not just tasty—photogenic, too.
Cheddar Garlic Bis—wait, wrong place. Still thinking about Dracul…
Shrimp Fresh Roll: While the flavors were solid and the ingredients fresh, it did feel like it had been prepped earlier in the day. A little more pop in texture would’ve taken it over the top.
Casual, clean, and welcoming. Le Banh delivers quick service without compromising quality, ideal for a flavorful lunch stop that doesn’t feel rushed. Staff were polite and efficient, letting the food do the talking.
Le Banh Cafe hits the mark for authentic Vietnamese comfort food with a few dazzling high notes. While not every item sang in perfect harmony, the overall experience was absolutely worth the visit. Go hungry...
Read moreSpent 60 bucks for 2 people. I don’t think it’s worth it at all. POOR HYGIENE. Our foods had hairs in it as you can see in the picture. Not only that, I noticed the server was on her phone speaking out loud despite the fact that she was in front of all the food trays without any masks. I just wanted to throw up at that point. We both got food poison right afterward. Me myself growing up eating Vietnamese dishes but the food from this restaurant really screwed me up. The servers didn’t speak Vietnamese even tho that was a Vietnamese restaurant, a bit strange to me but i understand that. They didn’t speak much English was a problem tho, We had some questions about our food and the server replied: “I don’t know. I don’t understand. Read”…. Please be careful if you have food allergies and do decide to come here. We paid ~60 bucks for 1 bánh mì, pork fresh rolls, 1 chicken salad, 2 drinks + tips. That was expensive compared to the quality of it. The foods honestly didn’t taste authentic at all to me. The bánh mì I got didn’t look like the pictures they posted online was somewhat understandable, but I didn’t expect it to only come with some thin slices of meat. The decorations were cute and the coffee was good. It tasted a bit like chocolate-cocoa drink but it was easy to drink for me,...
Read moreAfter having been introduced to bahn mi by Bon Bahn Mi in Charleston on Spring St some 20 years ago, it has been the standard by which I measure all others. I have also taken to making my own, so that I don't get disappointed. Le Banh was OK. It is just nice to get banh mi in another city, as I think they should be everywhere like Subway. The signature banh was good, but not great. Once slice cha lua, and two thin slices of Vietnamese salami. But they pate was a real disappointment. It may have been good but there was so little of it, ( see picture.) It would have been hard to taste. Yes the price was good $9, vs. the $10.75 current at Bon banh Mi. I would rather pay the higher price for a five-star sandwich. There was also no Thai basil... As for the other reviewer who stated that there were no pastries, There were when I was there. And it's no reason to only give one star because they were out of something you wanted. This is supposed to be about rating the food, Not what you didn't try! The service was just okay, I think they were on a shift change, because after I put my order in on the screen nothing happened for good 5 minutes. My friend got the chicken on me and it was well stuffed with chicken, And she quite enjoyed her sandwich which is what...
