Wow. Can't believe I have to write this review on my wife's birthday weekend. The single storefront worker (short haired, middle-aged woman with glasses and hat) greeted us and asked where we were from. She was also not wearing a mask, in a store in which it was hard to socially distance. We replied that we were from Michigan to which the worker went on a political diatribe about our governor and the decisions regarding covid she has made. The worker was hyperverbal and hardly let my wife and I talk, let alone shop for shoes. My wife and I are both Healthcare workers and have each been personally affected by the virus. We went in to purchase a pair of shoes and left deflated, attacked, and bewildered. I wish we could report this to the Arizona department of health or whatever governing agency Arizona has, but I don't think Arizona has mandated masks, so I can't really complain to travelling to such a shop. Really disappointed to see such outright disregard for others well being, comfort, and feelings in an otherwise wonderful shopping area. A pleasant woman served me and told me she (too) had “problem feet” and that these shoes where super comfortable. I bought 2 pairs of boots: one black medium heel, the other a multi colored stripe with slightly higher heel. After only a few wearings, the toe became dented inward and is really annoying to wear. Both pairs felt ok in the store, but are definitely NOT comfortable for more than a half hour, let alone several hours, in fact they cause a lot of pain. I looked into the return policy right after the toe caved in, like within the first few weeks but it was impossible so I’m out nearly $200.
