I had a reservation that I had cancelled (because of a conflict) but then rebooked once I cleared my evening. However, on arrival, the hostess said she assumed I was not coming because of my original cancellation and said she gave my spot away. I was confused, and let her know I had rebooked and even got a email reminder earlier that day. After the entire interaction (and showing email receipts) she was able to seat us anyways because the wine bar was half empty. I went to order my first glass, and she said "Sorry, we don't have an open bottle" and asked me to select something else. Again, so odd that I could not be served a glass of champagne that they had on the menu, but would not open. Unfortunately the whole experience rubbed me the wrong way, of which could have been a very pleasant evening.
