Not sure where all this talk of 'friendly staff' is coming from as that was most certainly not the case in our experience. When we came in the atmosphere seemed fun, the place looked very cool and it was packed with young people, most of which we later realized were locals. As soon as we entered they mentioned it was cash only which we didn't mind. The two of us ordered food and two rounds of beer, which they wouldn't bring to the table - you are supposed to wait for drinks at the bar - not a problem either (some people, however, got their drinks served to them). As soon as my boyfriend finished his second pint, the waiter removed it from the table without a word, no question of whether he would like another one. Several minutes later, while I was still finishing mine, he came over to ask us if we were ready to pay. It was 2 hours before closing time and he didn't approach anyone else, just us. We were never rude, loud or taking too long/taking up space (by that time there were some empty spots inside). So we just paid, tipped and left. We felt very uncomfortable as it was clear they do not like foreigners and will make sure you know it. I am sure it's a great spot for locals though. The food was alright and the prices were reasonable but the staff's attitude was enough to make us not...
Read moreI recently visited a pub in a great location, and overall, it was a good experience. As a Cuban, I’m picky about my mojitos, but I have to say they did an excellent job here. The mojitos were refreshing, perfectly balanced, and just the way I like them, which is not easy to find. If you’re into cocktails, I highly recommend trying one.
The vibe in the pub was also a highlight. The atmosphere felt lively and welcoming, with music playing at just the right volume so you could still have a conversation. The decor was stylish and gave the place a cozy feel. It’s clear a lot of thought went into creating a fun and comfortable environment.
However, the downside was that the place was quite crowded. It was difficult to find a table, and at times it felt a bit too packed, which made moving around a bit challenging. If you’re not a fan of crowded spaces, you might want to plan your visit during off-peak hours.
That said, if you don’t mind a bustling spot, it’s definitely worth checking out. The combination of good drinks, a lively atmosphere, and a central location make it a great place for a night out...
Read moreDisrespectful and poor business decision making, came in with 9 friends during the happy hour, we ordered atleast 5 rounds, making us the top spenders at the moment, we sang some song, drank all the drink, tipped. On the last 10 minutes of HH, we told them we want another round, the main waiter came out and said we cant order more until we finish what we have on the table (absurd thing to do in a pub, especially on the top spenders table), after we drank them in 2 minutes, they refused to give us more because we were "too loud", to which I asked was it a pub or a church? The waitress told me we should leave or she will call the police( another super thing to say to the customer)
So yeah, been there every time i was in Prague, but the love is over, disrespect and the lack of business decision making is beyond me. Hope people will avoid this place.
