Stay away from this place…the atmosphere is good but a little eerie. Eerie because waitstaff is indifferent n wears fake smiles! We came because of the pictures looks fantastic n overwhelming reviews. Presentation is good but tastes is a 1 ⭐️

First off, I am Vietnamese n this is one of the over hyped reviews restaurants I have ever been to. Service is swift but the food is just ok. My sister got the bun Bo hue…n she said it’s the worst she had ever eaten( vermicelli, the thin noodles, thin slices of beef n some lettuce no smell of bbh) my hubby (Chinese) had beef Pho n he said the broth is chicken broth with zero pho flavors or aroma n they use the same dry beef slices that they use for bbh., and no Hoisin sauce plus the basil was rotten . Our waitress stands right at the table when I picked up the rotten basil in front of her,. She didn’t acknowledge that that was a quality issue n smile like it is expected to be eaten that n walked away. Our appetizers was worse…the mangoes salad had about TWO thin slices shredded in the 98%lettuce n 4 small half shrimp and was salty as hell. The spring rolls were loosely wrap with the saltiest dipping sauce ever! I had the vermicelli noodles n pork n the flavor is mostly fish sauce n saltiness with a very oily pork sautéed slices.

I would love to root for my countrymen but when it ruins my experience of Prague that boast a large community of Vietnamese here, truly disappointed…do...

Since there is a large Vietnamese population in the Czech Republic, we had heard that the Vietnamese food is very good. After a walking tour, we were hungry and exhausted. We walked into this restaurant which was clean and nice on the inside. We ordered pho from an English menu. The pho was a little pricier than the other Vietnamese restaurants that we had researched. The food itself was decent. The pho tasted like it was from Northern Vietnam. While we leaving to pay the bill, we saw the lunch menu. We asked why we weren't given the option to order from the lunch menu. They claimed the lunch menu were for Czech nationals on their lunch break since it is only in Czech. This doesn't make any sense in the era of Google translate. We didn't make a fuss about it but it was annoying because the lunch menu was substantially cheaper. It seemed like they were trying to make extra money off of foreigners which I found annoying. I wouldn't recommend this place but if you do go around lunch time, ask for...

Overall, an extremely disappointing meal. 34 Traditional Vietnamese fresh spring rolls - Chewy, poor texture and lacking in flavour 40 Mango salad with lagoon prawns - Ok but the prawns were overcooked. Asian salads are supposed to be a subtle mix of flavours but this was bland. 42 Tom Yum soup - Average but OK 46 Traditional Vietnamese char-grilled pork - The pork was probably the only dish we thought was nice. 54 Grilled squid - The squid was incredibly tough and difficult to cut or eat, very disappointing! The jasmine rice was also terrible, the worst rice we have had in a long time, hard and dry. Poorly cooked or not fresh, either way if you can’t provide a simple boiled rice there is something very wrong for an Asian restaurant. Near the end of the meal, we were asked if everything was ok. After expressing our views the response was “oh” It feels like they really can’t be bothered and it wasn’t particularly busy. We certainly would...

Listen up, fellow foodies! Muc Dong is a must-visit Vietnamese restaurant in Praha! The cuisine and service are truly exceptional. The menu is vast and tempting - I wanted to try everything! But the attentive waitress wisely cautioned me about the generous portion sizes, showing genuine concern that I might not finish my orders. I appreciated her thoughtfulness and knowledge of the menu. As a northern Vietnamese, I was impressed when she noted my origins and explained the southern Vietnamese style of preparing Bánh Cuốn, which differs from what I'm used to. Her insight and kindness made my dining experience even more enjoyable. The "Vẹm xanh nướng mỡ hành" dish was absolutely delicious, despite being slightly salty due to the sauce. I loved it so much that I ordered a second serving! Highly recommend Muc Dong and I'll definitely return on my next trip to Praha. Wish I had gotten the waitress's name to give her a shoutout - her service was top-notch!

If you are Vietnamese and/or are looking for good bún bò huế, let me tell you that this does not taste like what you would expect. I’m from the South (Saigon), and it did not taste like BBH there at all; although the restaurant seemed to make food from the central region so I assumed bún bò huế tastes different compared to the South. I asked the staff, they admitted that they made it according to the taste of the central region, but also adjusted it to appeal to Europeans more. One thing that I would recommend is their homemade lemonade, very refreshing for a hot day. The food was not bad at all, but definitely not authentic. So I was surprised to see so many Vietnamese people eating here. Overall, I would not recommend for people who want to have authentic Vietnamese food.
