The Miners Coffee Old Town — Restaurant in Prague

Hi there, So, let me see if I’ve got this straight. My daily order is an iced latte with extra caramel and an extra shot. Shouldn't be justifying myself but without that, let’s be honest, your drinks taste like slightly caffeinated water. I’ve been doing this regularly, and I pay for it. The total? 160 CZK and a cup overflowing of ice cubes. No problem.

But today, I walk in, ask for my regular order, and I’m told that the company has decided not to allow this anymore. Even though I’m still being charged for the extras, I’m just… not allowed to have them? I'm sorry, what?

So yeah, I’ll go ahead and get my coffee elsewhere, somewhere that actually values paying customers and serves drinks that don’t need a full customization just to taste like something.

I had the pleasure of visiting The Miners recently, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The coffee was absolutely fantastic – rich, smooth, and expertly brewed. Every sip was a delight!

What truly made the visit stand out, though, was the top-notch service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. A special mention goes to Marina, who was simply fantastic. Her warm and welcoming demeanor, coupled with her knowledge of the menu, made the experience even better. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, adding a personal touch that is hard to come by.

Very polite waiter! I bought an espresso and a bottle of water, and this idiot kicked me out insulting me and all italian people, saying stuff like "f4ncul0, ciucciami il c4zz0, e italiani di m3rd4" (in italian) just for having a chimney (WHICH I WASN'T EATING) bought from one other shop because they dont have It. He didint gave me the possibility to explain that i would have drink the coffe and the water and then would have gone away eating my Chimney Somewhere else. And other thing, the espresso was orrible. I dont expect italian coffe because It Is impossibile. But seriouslly thé worst espresso in Prague....
